Convince her to see a psychologist or psychiatrist, as soon as possible! I know this won't be easy, and she might get mad but she can't keep up these sleep patterns up for long without permamnent damage being done to her mind and personality. If you can't convice her, speak to her parents and tell them of your concerns. Hopefully they can convince her if you can't. This is very serious, and I hope you succeed in helping her seek the assistance she seems to need!

I get about 3 hours of sleep a day, I don't sleep at night. I just like all the extra free time I have. Although I will admit, it's so horrible for people psychologically. I like it, but anyway, now the traumatizing event nightmares may require a psychologist.

I got thee same problem. Don't know how to answer it. Only thing I have done was take allgerie pill that puts me to sleep. That way I can't force myself to stay away. Cause without it I would stay awake.
Question though, does she have the sense of dejavu?

for the people that choose to have only minimal amounts of sleep everynight, I suppose its not a problem because they would be able to get back into a normal sleeping pattern eventually.
having a phychological block like telling yourself you cant fall alseep because you know something is going to happen, its more tricky =* what might help if its available is hyponsis. however, since generally hynosis practitioners arent everywhere, there are other ways... for example, if she was comfortable with the idea you could ask her to go through her nightmares in detail, and try and work out where its coming from and therefore what can be done. i know that personally tho I keep my nightmares to myself cause mine are very personal, so maybe even saying what they are out loud could help...

Have her try asking God and Azna to take the dreams away, tell them that for know its too much for her to handle. She may also ask her guide to help close off the nightmares from her.
