Nuit continued to walk towards the terror's human, never really looking back to make sure he was following her, although she didnt have to thanks to her sensitive hearing. Feeling slightly bored again, she started humming to herself the same lullaby she constantly tormented the girl, Melody, with, allowing her voice to echo throughout the empty atmosphere.

How much longer must I allow the human to rest, I wonder. Hopefully before I die of boredom, She thought to herself as they approached within a yard of Vrea'ix's human

Anna lifted onto her knees and hands, yet froze in fear and refused to move. There was a voice, disembodied from solid shape as she saw none. But it was there, lurking and haunting, tempting and wounding what little courage she had to flee. She turned around, her eyes widened as she could see one towering tall, powerful shape and another, small figure, familiar with those glowing malicious eyes.

Vrea'ix laughed, his voice changing over and over and over, confusing and eluding his human as she yelped and attmepted to run away. His shape changed, morphing into a long body, eyes still gleaming malevolently, claws burrying into the ground and the mauled hand he carried, teeth producing like if to yank pieces off his victim, antannae perking again and again as if to detect her. He immediately curled around the girl, letting his fangs smooth her skin warningly as he pushed her over to the demon he had but met. "Why, my dear Anna, this is M'lady Nuit." He stated, pushing the girl onto the mud before Nuit's feet as Anna trembled.

Nuit looked down at the human before her feet, considering various options of what to do, but no, this wasn't her human to torment. The effects would not be as rewarding for her, yet at the same time perhaps this would provide some entertainment at the least. She knelt down smoothly, one arm resting on her knees, and tilted the girl's chin up slightly with a long index finger, smirking slightly to show a slight glimpse of her fangs. "Why what do we have here?", she said softly to no one in particular.

Anna's entire shape shook with fear. She could've dealt with darkness, it always made her uncomfortable and gave her the creeps, but if it was only that she could've dealth with it. But these creatures. These beasts she couldn't identify, these monsters which were bent into torturing her so blindly and so fully. They frightened her, frightened her so much she could barely deal with their presences. She attempted to leap up to her feet and run, however the soil beneath her, muddy and damp, had her crash back down to the ground, filthy and terrified. She felt like crying so badly, like shouting and running. Yet fear stole her voice and power, her eyes unable to unplug from the creatures which presented themselves before her.

Vrea'ix, still in its elongated form, snickered and hissed. A devious and twisting tongue slithered out before it changed his shape. This time becoming something gruesomely large, horns and other apparently painful pieces protruding out of its body, the terror slowly loomed over to Anna, picking her up by the hairs, entertained as she yelped and cried, yet set her to sit before Nuit. "Respect you fool! I may be your nightmare, however she is to be treated with respect!" It hissed hurtfully into Anna's ears, nipping at then with his large fangs to draw pained tears from the girl, which now refused to move in fear of being further hurt. Vrea'ix pulled back soon after, licking the blood which trickled along his fangs from the mauled ear and scraped neck he had given his victim.

Looking at the fragile human, now pretty much huddled up in front of her feet, Nuit stood up again, twirling a lock of her hair absentmindedly. The other nightmare's comment made her smirk slightly at the ego boost it gave her. After all, she had only grown to her full potential not long ago. The respect it gave her, however, pleased Nuit to great extents.

She sighed slightly, in what sounded like boredom. "Humans.", she said to no one in particular, in her melodic voice, "So fragile. so absolutely... pathetic." With that she walked away from the human and perched herself neatly on the dead tree not far off. "You may proceed with your... plans..." Her voice trailed off at this, not quite knowing what the terror's name was.

Vrea'ix kept the smile, laughing softly beneath his breath like voice. He commenced to branch out, enveloping the poor girl in his grasp. He loved to see her panic, and as a mere terror he couldn't harm her... yet.

Anna, however, reacted differently. Her fear made her brutish, animalistic in a few moments. So, as the grip that held her hair tightened and the branch like apendages covered her sight, her response was to grab one of said 'branches' take it to her mouth, and bite at it with all the power of her jaws. The grip around her hair loosened, even though she knew Vrea'ix was merely playing along with her. She continued to bite down the branch, attempting to break any long and thin structurs in reach of her hands. The grip on her hair loosened and she now struggled to free herself of the branches.

(ack sorry i havent responded <_<;; )

Nuit watched the terror torment the human, keeping her apathetic composure. He certainly kept a much closer contact with his victim than she and hers. All the same, she didn't need to interact much with the human to accomplish the same feat. Although this terror treated with so much respect, to be honest Nuit was still not completely certain of what new boundaries she could cross, or what powers she was capable of. Until the human was well rested, she wouldn't know. This unnerved her, yet nonetheless she refused to let it preoccupy her too much.

It took long, agonizing moments for Anna to flee Vrea'ix's hold, running for the dear life that she still had. However, the terror was much faster. In a slick, vicious movement, he changed one branched figure into a near whip like, crooked hand, lacing it painfully tight around Anna's ankle, lifting her from the ground, and mercilessly flinging her into a tree. He knew her fear was enduced from pain, the more she hurt the more she feared. In fact, at that moment, she disappeared from Nightscape, her fear having been so great that it awoke her and, somehow, set an end to the spell which Vrea'ix held upon her in order to keep her hear. The terror snarled, hissing unpleased. He wasn't yet strong enough to bring her into Nightscape if not in her sleep. However, he was soon smiling once again, returning to that small childlike state of his, nibbling onto his desembodied hand. Anna hadn't slept for days, it wouldn't be long before he enjoyed her visits yet again. He looked up at Nuit, bowing lightly yet again. "Forgive her insolence, I plan on taming her a slight more if given greater chances." He stated. He wouldn't enerve a demon, even if a new one. Their powers were great, it was certain, and if he was foolish enough to enrage a legendary demon nightmare he'd not live to tell the tale, even if it were only a demon's practice upon the small terror.

((aiya sorry for leaving this off for so long. .____.;;; ))

She simply nodded, not caring particularly. While watching Vrea'ix torture the human was interesting, it didn't give her the same satisfaction as using her own powers to invoke fear on her own pathetic victim. Nuit closed her eyes, checking to see what the human was doing at the moment. ... Still sleeping but not deeply. As if the slightest sound would wake her and keep her from her slumber for hours on end. A few more days..., Nuit thought to herself, Only a few more days. She opened her eyes once more, looking back at the terror before her. "Thank you for that... display, little one. I'd love to stay longer but I must be off." She stood up on her perch, still maintaining her balance. "Perhaps I'll see you again." With that, she spread her wings and flew upward, vanishing in the darkness.

Vrea'ix watched as the large, majestic bat like nightmare lifted into the skies, vanishing amongst the dark and dry nature of Atrum. He gave a gentle bow as she left, his maniacal smile remaining. Now left as the young terror he was, the figure walked about oddly, laughing and chuckling maddly as he nibbled and chewed upon the hand which he held upon so dearly. His small chest heaved lightly in order to produce a gutteral sound much similar to a vicious snarl. He continued to walk about, his shape changing continuously, for none would know, none could ever comprehend or know what he truly was. And the thought frightened Anna even as she was awake, for he'd pull her in... she hadn't a doubt upon that matter.
