Ink’s eyes widened in fear as she got a good look at what was standing in front of her and she fell to the ground and curled up into a small ball, trying to block out the horrifying sight in front of her. She had fallen asleep so peacefully in her bed, thinking she could have a good sleep without any nightmares at all. This was her clearest yet and the creature in front of her must have represented her horrid fear.

“It’s only a dream, just a dream,” she whispered out loud to herself, “I’ll wake up soon.”

“Pch! A dream of a world.” the demon announced loudly. Ink couldn’t help but notice, behind the feminity of the voice, there was something deeper. Something that reminded her of blood, and appendages removed from ones body. The girl promptly threw up at that moment of realization. The creature took a few steps backward.

“Great! I can’t get a normal one! No screaming and running. You just sit their and barf your brains out.” Ara frowned, but on the inside she was fascinated. Though, she in no way liked the human. In fact, she didn’t even like this standing around and conversing.

Ara leaned forward in a threatening sort of way, right into Ink’s face. Ink recoiled in terror as the smell of blood drifted off of Ara’s body when the creature came closer to her. She tried to keep her mouth shut, but when her eyes met Ara’s one large visible eye, she screamed.

Ara laughed out loud, in a cruel and dark fashion, she reached forward to grab the humans arm and dug her claws in, drawing a fair amount of blood. Her pray screamed even louder at the pain, trying to draw away, but her tormenters claws were to deeply imbed in her skin.

Ara then quickly drew her claw out, giving the blood more room to flow and watched Ink in a cruel, yet amused, way. She stood up to her full height, and Ink stared at her arm in horror. Ara let out a cruel laugh in amusement.

“Don’t worry, the night is still young,” came the taunting voice of Ara, “and you won’t die from that wound.” Only then did Ink look up, realizing with horror what the creature in front of her meant. With tears running down her face, Ink got up and started running, leaving a clear trail of blood behind her.

Ara just smirked and ran after her fleeing prey.
