Today I FINALLY got my Wii, but after playing Sports and Rayman I don't want to pick up the controller anymore! Even with the lowest setting for sensitvity the thing seems to jerk about, ruining games like the dancing in Rayman and Boxing in Sports! If it's not being too responsive though, it's being near-unresponsive! In Tennis my character never seemed to do what it was told! In Rayman: what sent rayman running at the speed of light in the first challenge, wasn't nearly good enough to get Super-Bunny to fly out of the mine cart!
Do I need to do some serious tweaking to the settings or is the Wii just getting more praise than it actually deserves???

Do I need to do some serious tweaking to the settings or is the Wii just getting more praise than it actually deserves??? I had the same problem. If you look in one of the little manuels it came with it will tell you several ways to fix it. You could be too close or there could be too much light in the way [I had a light up fake christmas tree in my room. It was SUPER close to my T.V. and I didn't turn it on till about 3 hours of Wii playing. When I did my Wii went screwey. I looked up the problem, turned off my tree, and it worked again!!!]

from the sound of it light interferes, I cant really blame ya, if the manual states certain ammounts of light can interfere with the game then kill some lights, shut off a lamp or two, try different lighting adjustments. maybe darkness is best suited for the Wii, which could be best for someone like me. ^_^

Sure, it is kinda bogus to have to turn off lights but I don't mind!! I'll do anything for my Wii *gives really creepy smile*

You need to ASK if you can "borrow" one of my pets to sacrifice it to the Wii. Besides, it still won't make you better in tennis!

Right well after adjustments, tweaking, practise and very sore arms: I've got it working fine. I was too close, and also I was not very good sweatdrop
Although I still can't get the hang of Wii Sports boxing! That shizzle just don't wanna do what I wanna do!
