Watching Parallel Universe last night, I realize that they had to make Cat's opposite a dog, because it's just too funny that way.
I do wonder, though: if they had mad Cat's opposite a female, what would she be like? Who could they possibly get to play Cat's female opposite that would be as cool as Cat himself?
Do you think they would have had "Cat"r play his own female opposite? That's the way I would like to see it!

Well, I'm sure their are plenty of women out there who look enough like Cat and who could act like him. I always did wonder about that though. The universes were supposed to be completely identical except the sexes were changed. I never understood why Cat got a male dog opposite.

Well, as far as I see it, if Cat had a super cool female opposite, the main problem would be them finding each other. Even one shiny surface getting in the way and they'd stare at themselves all day and never even meet.

Apparently man + cat is the direct opposite of woman + dog.
So, in a hermaprodite dimension, would Lister have brought on a cat and a dog?
