I can't seem to beat Margulis. I mean,I know he's probably the worst boss in the game(So I've read,)but...GAWD, I just chip and chip away at his health,but as we all know,the better you are the better HE gets,and as soon as he activates his anima for me,it's over.
Is there something I'm missing??I've bought the best parts for my party,and I can't seem to find a way to get any stronger.
Also,is it just me,or was the game easy as pie until you got to Michtam??I slammed all those baddies without breaking a sweat,(Including Yuriev himself,)but as soon as I hit Pellegri,the fights just got harder and harder.I must have died,like,20+ times fighting her,then Voyager. And now Margulis??Come ON,I wanna beat the game already!!(and I HATE fighting in the mech units.)
Any tips??And I'm not above cheating...though I was hoping to play this one legit.Not to mention the fact that I can't seem to find any cheats for that game anyway.
Any tips???

I felt Voyager was a lot more difficult, but even so I found it impossible to defeat Margulis.
UNTIL. I used the Charge option. Whenever he's about to attack, charge your ESs instead of attacking him. He does less damage then.
Also, get your anima gauges full before you fight him. And don't use the level 3 attack straight away. Do level 1 attacks when you need to change his shield thing. And when he has about 15% HP left- Take him out with the level 3 attacks.
So basically, when he gets low on health, you want to defeat him before he gets a chance to attack.

I thought beating him had to do with hitting him with elemental stuff until his armor goes all cracked and shiet and then he turns weak against physical things~ o_o; Maybe I'm wrong, I haven't fought him again in a while.
D; But yeah, he was a b***h to fight. But he's still cool :3 whut whut

Aw,gawd!!!I hated Voyager!!!!I felt he didn't die horrifically enough after what he put me through-But I was still able to beat him on my own somehow confused *is puzzled* Right,your tips are noted!!I'll try again using that strategy...I always beat him down with level 3 attacks as soon as I possibly could. And I didn't even think of charging much. eek

Ugh. Margulis was my first game over yet. I beat Pellegri in one try. I've only tried to beat Margulis once, though. I figured out the whole charge thing, but he hit me with two attacks in a row, and I couldn't block in time.
But I agree that it's awesome that he has Jin's swimsuit. That amused me to no end.

You're right, this game is pretty easy for quite awhile... but i think voyager is pretty tough
