Sorry, changed your title as we have quite a few Hitchhikers threads now.

I love that series. Marvin's great - though Ford Prefect comes a close second. In that version anyway.

yeah, I agree...although I haven't seen much of the TV seiris, I really like what Ive seen....

though I must say, the new marvin is just so cute!

Heh, the TV series was generally better than the movie but the guide entries were kinda boring and hard to read, and the aliens didn't look as awesome. But yeah, the Marvin in the movie was a lot cuter!

I love the original series. The effects sucked, but there was something quaint about it. And I love Ford-he's just so much more alien there. 4laugh

Tom Baker did the voice of Aslam for the tv verson in The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe.


There's only one tv version and it was done by BBC...he was Puddleglum in The Silver Chair, the last one they did, but he wasn't Aslan's voice....dunno how you got that.....

i love the TV series.. i got the DVDs for xmas <: i remember when it was being reshown on TV, when around the movie was in cinemas.. and i looked athe credits and saw peter davison as the pig.. i was giggling a bit, has to be said. XD

There was an animated version for TV in the US in the 1970's...it was released on DVD when Narnia came out on DVD. It didn't look like much but it was actually much more faithful to the spirit & the story than the blockbuster mega-effects thing.

The link to the video on youtube is invalid. The video has been removed from youtube. You might want to try to find another vieo that gets across the same thing.
