Dew clung to his form as the large wolf slid through the early morning half light. His tail swished at his ankles, trying to dust himself off from sleeping all night. He normally didn't sleep that long or that time of day but the wolf had been up for two days and finally collapsed.
A sigh slid from his muzzle, making a puff of white mist come from the end of it, looking as if his spirit were sliding from him. When he'd been a pup, Akamichi had loved to do that, to make it appear as if his spirit was emptying from his body. Maybe he was a strange pup like he was told, but Aka didn't see a reason not to have fun in his life when so many interesting things were swarming around in it.
A rabbit hopped unwittingly before his nose and Aka flicked his two toned eyes in that direction, watching the little thing's every move. ninja

Crunch. Crunch.
Thats the sound Bindi wished she was producing by feasting upon some kind of critter on this particularily nippy morning. She had been up since the crack of dawn trying feverishly to catch something on her own...for she had only managed to catch a mouse once yesterday and for a growing pup that was not enough. Hiding out in the bushes as her own azure orbs locked on the rabbit, her tongue trailed over her canines...her stomach ached for this meal.
With her muscles tense, ready to pounce...the young femme could barely contain the excited yips which wished to emit from her vocals. NOW. Taking off out of the bush, she darted to the hare with swift movement...untill she missed the rock. Crunching her paw against the protruding stone, Bindi let out a yip as she tumbled to the ground in a twirl of sun-kissed fur and flying dirt. Nonetheless, the rabbit quickly escaped. Whining sadly as she untangled her limbs and stood up with a slight limp, her small body turned to leave when she finally caught sight of the large male staring at her...or what would have been the rabbit. Immediately tensing as her fur rose and ears fell, she backed up in a trembling fear....she had hunted and scared off another's prey! Oh was she going to be in for it now...

Of course he knew the difference between a rabbit and a pup, but this pup was so small that it was almost hard to tell. His eyes took it in and he slunk forward silently, paws bringing him within a pace or two of the little thing and he stared down at her silently.
"Someone needs to teach you how to hunt don't they?" Aka asked smoothly, his two toned eyes watching the blonde marked pup. She was tiny, that was for sure.
In a way it reminded him of some of the other pups he'd met not that long ago, it made him happy to see pups running around, truth be told. It told of the future. ninja

Staring up as Bindi tried to remain as tiny as possible as the male approached. He was so big! Staring into his eyes, she took notice of his multi hue'd orbs and how fascinating they were. However, that wasn't the main concern here as she believed she had done something wrong. That was...untill he spoke in deep, yet smooth vocals.
Perking her ears up, the pup cocked her head to the side and blinked as her tail swayed. "I never had anyone to teach me.." Bindi admitted, her ears falling for a moment at the thought of her parents...yet it passed. Seeing as she wasn't in trouble, she padded in front of the male and wagged her tail happily. "I'm Bindi!" She proclaimed, rather proudly.

A fatherly smile spread over Aka's muzzle slowly, letting the pup know that she wasn't in trouble in his presence. It amused him to great lengths how pups always got frightened in the presence of adults or anything larger than themselves. In truth, Aka was no more danger to her than the rabbit that had run off.
"Well then would you like something to eat little one? Or maybe hunting lessons?" Both of his ears flicked forward and he watched her carefully. It was true, some were made for hunting and others weren't, Akamichi had seen his fair share of wolves that couldn't hunt to save their own lives. ninja

Blinking lightly, her head cocked to the side at Aka's warm smile..it reminded her of the one her father used to give her. With a smile on her own lips, the pup seemed to blush slightly at the mention of lessons...almost embarassed that she didn't know how to hunt. However, he offered to teach her or get her something to eat!
Thinking about it, she was really hungry now, as evident from her growling tummy. However, in the long run...it would be best to learn how to properly hunt; as kind wolves like Aka wouldn't always be around to help her. Looking up to the male, she smiled sheepishly as once again her tummy made a growl of defiance.
"Can we maybe do both? I'm kinda hungry now..."

Nodding his head and tilting his head slightly as he stood, Akamichi swished his tail to the side and trotted off between the trees. Of course he lived around this area, so he had a store of meat weasled away somewhere in a tree that most wouldn't have been able to find since it was so full of bees and honey combs. The honey masked the scent of the meat from noses that would otherwise have gotten to it instantly.
Reaching his paw into said tree, Aka looked back at the female and tossed out a pawful of meat at her feet, smiling and settling down on his haunches. If she needed more he would get it for her.
"So then little one... what has you out here by your lonesom?" He asked at last, watching the little blonde pup before him. ninja

Following closely behind Aka, Bindi's eyes wandered around the scenery illuminated by the morning glow. It really was pretty outside at this time, and she had such a nice friend too! Pausing as they reached a honey tree, she cocked her head lightly as it was strange that they would be here. However, seeing him pull the meat from the tree, she gasped lightly at the ingeniousness of it all.
Dropping to the ground she adjusted the meat onto her paw as she began ripping at the juicy slab, it was delicious as it almost had a honey taste to it. Finally her stomach settled, satisfied that it was being fed. Pausing for a moment as he spoke, she licked her lips with a smile, "Thank you, Aka." Then...a saddened look came over her. "My parents abandoned me. They told me to meet them at the field one morning, and never showed up. I'm doing better now...although theres alot of things i've seen wolves do that I can't." She lowered her head, taking another small bite of the meat.
