Leith narrowed his eyes as the wolfess slowed her pace after defining he point. Kirra was fast, too fast! But she was quite ravashing and there was something about her that drove his senses wild! Kirra was unique and joining this pack was even more inticing after all.
A hesitant, sheepish smirk slid across his maw. "Oh- uh, nothing," he choked slightly, ears folding back against his skull. "I was just babbling. It was nothing."
Glancing around curiously in all directions, Leith pursed his lips.
"We almost there?"

Kirra arched a brow at his response. Why were males so odd? Nevertheless, this male was interesting. Kirra didn't really know how to explain it but she felt something she never felt around another wolf. Well really the only other wolf she had been around was Maverick, so how could she know that what she was feeling was different?
A frustrated huff escaped her muzzle as she slowed her pace yet again. As she stopped she sent her nose to the snow searching for the scent of her past tracks. Her searching lead her to a grouping of trees which she looked at carefully, searching for, and finding her claw marks from before. A satisfied look crossed her maw as she trotted back toward Leith.
"We are close yes." She paused then, waiting to see if Leith would question her again before they got to Maverick.

The white and gold swirled male tried to hide his confusion as well as his mild embarassment. Leith had been surrounded by three sisters and his only brother and he had thought that he had girls all figured out but- apparently, Kirra was a bit more tricky. A small grin tucked away at the corner of his maw as he trailed aside her. He couldn't deny that he had feelings for her but so soon?
He shook his head. "I'm starting to act lik Dar," he murmured to himself, knowing that his brother had all too commonly fell hard for any female that simply looked or smiled friendly at him. Wrinkling his muzzle, Leith continued on with the wolfess and their search for the Alpha.
Trailing towards the small grove of trees, the male nodded with a smile. "Lead the way, Kirra," he spoke softly with a ring of glee sounding happily within his voice.

She continued on at a slow trot, but a sudden howl in the air made her stop. The sable wolf's ears folded back and she looked over at Leith. The howl sounded again, this time seeming a little more frantic at the fact that she hadn't answered.
" Go ahead on back to your home, wolf," she muttered. She suddenly threw her head back and howled in return. As the howl ended she looked back at Leith, smiling sadly before suddenly taking off. And with that she was gone and she had her mind set to let no one follow her.
