This story was passed down from my family. First my great great grandafther owned the house next to the house in the story, then it was passed down. All the houses in my neighborhood are old. They were made around the end of the 19th century or the early 20th century.
There's one house on the corner...
It's a beautiful house. It looks like a great house, except for the fact that there's a sign on it permitting no one to live there.

In 1907, neighbors say they could hear Edward Heckle, the owner, shouting with another man.
The next day, his body was found with his throat slit in his house.
A few years later, another man moved in. His was making a shed to store all his tools, when he fell off the ladder and broke his neck. He died a few minutes after the fall.
For a very long time, no one lived inside the house, until the Miltons. They were a family of four moving into the area.
A year after the Miltons moved in, the father, Adam, died from a mysterious illness inside their home.
The mother, Matilda, was left to raise her two children by herself.
After coming home from school, Rose, the daughter, and her brother, Timothy, waited for their mother to come home from her job. The children did their homework. After an hour, Rose became worried and went to the store where her mother worked, which was within walking distance. She did not see her mother there, so she ran home. When Rose entered the home, she went to her brother Timothy. "Did mom come home yet?" she asked. "No, was she at the store?" "No Tim, she wasn't there!" Rose called the police to report a missing person. They said that the person must be missing for 24 hours in order for them to be a missing person, so the next morning, Rose called the police again to tell them that their mother had not come home. The police went over to the house, and discovered Matilda's body in the basement. Rose and Timothy were taken to a foster home. They are still alive, and the house on the corner is still there.

Coinciedence, much?

By the way, I know all this stuff because, as I said before, my great great grandfather lived next to the house. He always regretted not calling the police when he heard the shouting from Edward's house.
My great x2 grandfather was living in the house at the time of the second killing.
EDIT:He (my great x2 grandafther) killed himself shortly after those deaths, because he felt that the ghost of Edward wasn't quite ready to leave and killed anyone who lived in his house.
I met Rose Milton in her home, to do my research on the house, and she told me everything about her family and what had happened.
