I had kind of a strange dream last night. Maybe it means something, maybe not... anyway...

It begins with the knowledge that I've been given some kind of position of resposibility and I have an office. This office, however, is in a cave in the side of a cliff that I can only reach by flying to it. I only remember flying to it once and I knew I was doing so with white, feathered wings. Right next to my "office" was another cave with some kind of machinery inside, and it was supposedly haunted.

From there the scene shifts to the outside of another cave where, apparently, one of the workers under my command has just died. The weird part is that he's standing outside the cave while this old man (who is missing an eye and has some nasty looking scars) nods to him to go inside. I knew that the nod was the old man's way of saying "Go inside so you can be at rest.".

Shortly thereafter I decide to climb the cliff to see if I can figure out why that cave is haunted. There was a trickle of water coming down the cliff as I was climbing, but I managed to avoid getting wet somehow. As I got to the top of the cliff I could see that the water was coming from two streams that converged just before reaching the cliff edge.

All around the streams were some very gnarled and nasty looking trees. Pulling myself up over the edge I began to walk among the trees until I came to a clearing. While in the clearing I could see that all the trees had at least one human looking face in their bark. Somehow I knew that the faces meant the trees contained a human soul facing some kind of torture. After walking around the clearing looking at the trees for a while the dream ended.

The sub-forum is now RESURRECTED! Anyway, I don't have time to reply right now so I'm sorta writing this so I know to come back and write something worth reading in this space. Plus I'm really tired, I should prolly try and get more then an hour of sleep each night.

*Edit*: I'll EVENTUALLY get to this. Oh and also, my sleeping habits have worsened. If anyone wanted to know.

Hmmm... it's been a while, but I remember that the left eye was damaged and had a scar running through it vertically from just under the eyebrow to his upper lip. I don't remember the color of his other eye.
