There were some perks to being a part time waitress at one of the local diners... One of those perks involved the tips that she didn't have to wait until payday to spend. She'd made enough durring her weekend trips to treat herself to a little bit of shopping on her day off, figuring she could pick out something for herself and, since there was another holiday right around the corner, she could start trying to find something for her boyfriend as well.
Her first stop was one of her favorite boutiques; one that seemed to specialize in the short skirts that she wore along with blouses that were easily altered for her wings if they weren't some sort of halter. She wouldn't find much in the line of gifts here unless she went straight to the lingerie section... But maybe she'd be able to find something cute to wear for dinner? A dress... Something red? No. Pink... Pink would look alot better on her than red...

She wasn't the only fa'e in the shop that day. A rather short and spunky black haired teen was thumbing through the clearance rack. Hey, just because it's marked down doesn't mean you can't find a gold mind. Taking out a slim fit short cut dress and held it to herself a moment. It was a emerald green color, and even though she didn't fancy the color it wasn't that bad.
Running fingers over the fabric, the girl just shook her head and placed the dress back. No way was she going to slip on something itchy...
Stepping away from the rack, she happened to glance up and catch a familiar face. My my.... A small smile played on her lips. She remembered Laylana from that fateful day of prom. Would she remember her? It had been awhile....
Shrugging, she moved towards the other, circling around a moment as if she were hunting prey. Should she say anything? Ah what the hell not? "Hello... Laylana was it?" She asked, smiling as she leaned against a clothing rack slightly. "It's been awhile. Last time you seen me I had casts on my arms."

The sound of her voice falling from someone else's unfamiliar lips made her jump, wings twitching behind her. "Um... Oh! Taima, right?" That was the only person she knew who had been in casts the last time she'd seen them. "The little girl from Prom?" Only she wasn't a little girl now. She'd definately... Grown.
She herself was holding a cute little pink number trimmed in lace against her, gazing at her reflection in the mirror before placing the dress back on the rack. "I haven't been able to find anything here yet... Have you found anything worth while?"

"I myself enjoy shopping the clearance rack. Twice as much for the price of the normal stuff around here. Better deal I think. And most of it is easy to alter at home if need by." Shrugging, the black haired teen leaned against a rack of clothing, giving Laylana a once over.
"And, if I may be so bold. That dress will make you look like and Easter egg. If you want my opinion, there's a nice emerald green dress just over there-" she cocked her head in the direction. "It might better on you than pink."
Shifting, she took out her cell phone for a glance of the time. Tch, no wonder she was hungry, it was already past noon. "Why don't we go get a bite to eat? My treat." Looking up at the other female, Taima flashed a small smile. "Of course do take your time to finish shopping, but I'm going to go pay for my stuff."
