Briar lazed on the bank of the Grape Soda River. He felt exhausted after playing tour guide to different Numas. Traveling from the River to the Gummy Tree Forest to Candy Mountain and that lake he still hadn't learned the name of was busy work. Now he just felt like lying around for a long time.
Unless something more interesting came along.

Yojimbo had been roaming around until he came to the Grape Soda River, there he stopped for a quick drink until he saw another numa resting. Yojimbo: 'ello there. Yojimbo gave a steady nod and a friendly smirk.

Briar lifted his head from where it rested on his paws and turned to the other Numa that had appeared at the river's side. "Hello," he greeted with a grin. "I don't believe we've met before. My name's Briar."

Yojimbo: It's very nice to meet you Briar. They call me Yojimbo. Although, I'm not sure who "they" are. sweatdrop

"They?" Briar asked, a bit puzzled, as he tilted his head. His brow knitted together in an expression of confusion.

Yojimbo: Ehh... How about we avoid that subject for now and go on to what you are doing here on the banks of the Grape Soda River?

Briar's brow furrowed a bit, but he decided to let the subject drop. "I wasn't really doing much of anything," he explained. "I was just relaxing for a bit."

Yojimbo gave an embarassed shrug. "Do you know your way all around the Forest? I've heard quite a few strange tales about that place.

"About the Forest?" Briar asked, blinking at the other numa. "What strange tales have you heard about the Forest?"

Yojimbo gave a distant look. Then he let his mind drift for a few seconds... Yojimbo: Not exactly what I've seen ,but more of what I've heard. I've had a odd feeling about the forest for some time. So, today I decided to investigate my suspicions. That's why I'm here .

Briar scratched his chin in thought. He hadn't heard of any strange tales about the Forest, and he had never witnessed anything strange while wandering through the Forest.
"If you like, I could go with you," he suggested, curious about what strange things could be lurking in the Forest.

Yojimbo: That would make it a bit easier since I've never been deep into the forest myself. Yojimbo then gave a triumphant smile and proceeded to approach the dense forest.

Briar followed after the other Numa as he continued to imagine all the strange possibilities. "What exactly have you heard about the forest?" he asked again, hoping for some information that might shape his ideas better.

In all his excitement, Yojimbo had forgotten to inform Briar that he was after a very special lollipop in the forest. Yojimbo: "I'm looking for a rare lollipop that is said to be over 100 years old." ^^
