blacksheepmails

wow our reading lists are similar! although i've already read everything on your summer reading thing because interestingly, they were almost all required for school...
phantom of the opera is amazing. you are in for a real treat.

as for the future ones, 1984 is blech but im just trying to convince everyone that. i didnt like it.
are you gonna attempt don quixote in spanish? i though i should over the summer...
the origin of species is boring. read only a few chapters. its pretty... blech. uselessly detailed and tangentful and the language is just horrid. >.>

and people in this guild are such bookworms! I've read only about 10 [short] books last month, which is more than than i did during the school year (not counting required reading)

I'm going to read it in american-english! the english version is at Barnes and Nobles! I thought that 1984 is a good book when I saw it on a reading list for English class!

sweatdrop I either have to much spare time or I read to much..or both..

Counting since January and not last August:

1. The Complete Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis (3 times)
2. Parasite Pig by unknown.. (1 time)
3. All of my 23 romance novels by various authors (At LEAST twice each)
4. Labyrinth by Kate Mosse (2 times)
5. Eragon by Paolini (4 times, loved it)
6. Eldest by Paolini (2 times, going on 3 when I find it again since the move)
7. All of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series by Brashares (3 times)
8. Nothing but the Truth by Avi (1 time, disliked the choppiness of how they mixed in documents)
9. A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer (3 times)
10. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (1 time so far, my mom is still reading it, then it goes to my sister, and THEN back to me)

Don't get me started on since last August..I'd have to write down all the books on my bookshelf and my mom's..then dig in library records..

Currently Reading:
Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck ( I don't recommend this if you dislike a book that is 95% details and 50% of said details are on frustration and dust )
