Ok, time to throw in my two cents that no one cares about.
Lavitz has more experience yes, but it doesn't really matter Albert does have a quicker mind. Going into this forum, I fully believed that Lavitz was better, then I read Albert's arguement and realized something he didn't touch upon. Being an avid RPer myself, I need to know the limitations of a character's body. Albert would tire much quicker than Lavitz, but he would devastate Lavitz with his speed. Lavitz can take much more than Al and when he hits, Al will indefinitely be knocked back from the hit, but he's slow, almost too slow for my tastes. Even in the beginning of the game he's goes once for every two times Dart went. Even though statwise their agility is the same, it seems as if Albert goes twice as much as Lavitz did.
There's my two cents, you may continue. If you couldn't figure it out. I'm saying that the fight would end with either both admitting it's a stalemate, or kiiling each other. They're evenly matched.

I thought Albert seemed a bit faster than Lavitz, but I guess his cape always distracted me. o-o

Ok...if your gonna realize the physical advantages of alberts speed...DONT leave out Lavitz's defense compared to alberts. In a real life situation you describe albert as being faster than Lavitz. I agree with this statement, but endurance always and skill always win a match. Lavitz obviously would have a better defense...and could defend himself until Albert simply tired out if need be. When Albert is done with all the fancy moves he adds to Gust of Wind Dance...Lavitz can take advantage of his exhaustion. Thanks! talk2hand

albert's additions are slightly harder to use. and since other than that both of their stats are exactly the same, i would go with lavitz.
