I'm on Destiny Islands fighting Darkside ... It's rather annoying ... Does anybody have any tips on how to beat it??

Stock a bunch of 0 and high-numbered cards so you can break it's attacks. You just have to wait until you break it, and then keep hitting it until it gets out of range again, and then repeat process.

Darksides attacs cycle........just stack your deck and only break his laser attacks. The go in a circle kinda thing....Punches ground>>sky laser>>punches into portal(releases shadows)>>direct laser attack>>punches ground......hes actually really annoying cause hes so easy...he neve hit me once, just watch for the shadows

Get your cards arranged into what's convienent for you- magic with magic, attack with attack, etc. or something like that. Equip a lot of the better cards, like 0 cards. Make sure you use the zero cards when you really have to, though.
