*slaps herself to refocus*
Okay... well I thought I had better check in with everyone once more before Lilith and Talithya start getting notes from people asking if I have died on them and where to send the flowers for my funeral... *cringes reading that last line remembering a past fight with Tali about death and smiles awkwardly anc moves on*...
Today is going to be one of those days again. I was lying in bed and I had litterally burried myself under the top sheet and all the blankets I have on my bed (my room here in the hospital just feels so much colder this time around) and I had convinced myself that I was staying under there. I even kept my eyes closed as I am living by the motto... "It's not morning until I open my eyes!" Well that idea lasted the whole of 5 seconds past 7 this morning when all I heard was this almighty crash and a voice say "OH BLOODY BUGGERING HELL".
Cursing my curiosity and the fact that my eyes flew open at the crash I poped my head out of the covers on the side of the bed to see a poor frazzled looking Student nurse picking up the over turned dressing trolley. I tried hard not to laugh as I know how hard that damn trolley can be (Merrick is convinced it has a mind of it's own like some of the Taxi Drivers in Melbourne) anyway I was just hanging my head out... well peaking out really... watching this poor girl picking things up when I saw her gasp and the blood litterally drain from her face when a shadow passed over her. I was wondering what was wrong so I stuck my head out alittle further and saw...

When I saw that bitches face I was instantly transported back to my Student Nursing days under her and all the painfull memories of her degrading words and actions towards me and a couple others of my class at the time returned with a thud. I was watching the COW (sorry for insulting the bovines of the world) start to rip into this poor student and I was not going to say anything until I remembers I was no longer her student, I was now a Division 1 Nurse haveing furthered my studies, when I wasn't sick I was employed at this hospital (and still am) and most of all I was a paitent now and the b***h HAD to listen to me and treat me with respect. [not to mention I stand at least 2 foot over her so I can be intimidating when I want to be].
So I flew into action and defended this poor girl from a toungelashing. I told Sue Gash that it was not the girls fault as that Trolley ALWAYS ends up over turning and hitting the floor for those who have never moved it around before so she really should lay off and give the girl ( I found out later her name was Mary) a break. The look on Sue's face was a pure Kodak moment [boy was I secretly cursing I didn't have my camera] and she back off. She backed of even more when Merrick, Talithaya and Kelly who were on the morning shift that day came around the corner and also mentioned that trolley being cursed! (YAY SCORE 1 for me and the student nurse, SCORE 0 for bitchface). Sue kind've hightailed it back down another corridoor after that and as Mary, Merrick and Kelly picked the trolley up Tali helped me back into bed and I whispered to Mary to come to me if she needed some help and not Sue. It got back to me that she was telling everyone how cool I was and that the rest of her shift was the best she had done as Sue kept away from her.
So anyway that was my exctiement for the day. The afternoon staff and students have just come on now and I can hear a voice at the end of the hallway talking about the cursed trolley... all I have to do now is wait I guess... and stare at the walls... and play TOMB RAIDER ANGEL OF DARKNESS...I am on the final level so I a pretty excited about that! Yay me!
