Just posting my English paper here, so that I may spell check it with the only spell checker on my computer.
You all may want to read it as well. It was a dialogue paper, so the talking had to move the paper, not the narroration. Well, tell me what you all thing?
(Yes, next post is gonna be one LONG post.)

The alarm clock screamed for attention as the time hit 6:30. "Time to get up sweetie," A women's voice said from the doorway of the room. "You wouldn't want to be late for school on the first day, would you?" She walks over to the set of bunk beds, gently pushing the shoulder of the lower occupant, then rubbing the back of the one on the upper bed.
"I don't want to get up. Just a few more minutes." Tesunie rolls over in the lower bunk.
"Ahhh. Time for school?" Tassen, Tesunie's ten year old brother rolls over, facing their mother. His cheeks are flushed.
"Oh my. You feeling okay Tassen dear?" Tesunie's mother places her hand on Tassen's forehead, feeling his temperature. "You’re burning up. You’re going to have to stay home."
"I don't wanna! I wanna go to school!"
"Well, not with a temp like that. Let me go and get a thermometer." She quickly leaves the room, and heads off to grab a thermometer.
"Alright! I'm up!" Tesunie now gets out of his bed. "I guess it would be time to get ready." He walks over to the upstairs bathroom and quickly gets changed.
Meanwhile, Tesunie's mother makes it back up stairs. "Keep this under your tongue."
"Yes mom." Tassen places the thermometer under his tongue, and keeps it there for a few moments.
"Well, let me see that. Yup, as I though, you my friend, have a fever. You’re going nowhere today."
"Sorry Tassen. I'll go and get your work for you then." Tesunie says, being the older brother.
"But, I wanna be with my friends!"
"So, you want to give your friends your cold? How nice of you." Tesunie laughs, joking with his younger brother.
"Hurry up dear, or you won't make it to the cable car in time. You wouldn't want to miss your first day would you?" Their mother interrupts the teasing of the two brothers.
"Oh ya!" He quickly looks at the time, "7:30! I gatta go!"
"Your breakfast is on the table! It is toast," His mother yells down the stairs, after Tesunie. "Don't forget your bags either!" The slam of the door tells her Tesunie has left.
Outside the Kataren house, Tesunie sees one of his friends walking down the road. "Hey! Nathien! Wait up!"
"Oh! You’re actually running on time. What a surprise," Nathien looks at his friend as he approaches. "You ready for the ninth grade?"
"I hope so. Later today I am going to have to pick up Tassen's work." Tesunie quickly catches up to Nathein. He is eating the toast his mother made for him. He all but runs to where Nathein is.
"Again? Will he ever get well?"
"We don't know. He always seems to be getting sick. If it wasn't for me bringing and dropping his work off for him, he would not have passed last year. Thankfully he is a bright kid."
"Ya, I guess so." Nathein looks over at Tesunie. "Any new artwork to show me?"
"Ya, a few. I'll show you when we get to the cable car."
The two ends up walking to the cable car station just as the car arrives. "We had good timing, a few more minutes and we would have been late."
"Ya, but for once, I'm gonna... My bag!" The strap to Tesunie's bag snaps, sending the contents of his bag onto the pavement. "Nathien, help me!" He starts to pick up his stuff.
"No way! If I do, I'm gonna miss the car!" Nathien walks into the crowd, and onto the cable car.
"But.. What a friend you are. Fine, I'll pick it up on my own." Tesunie starts to pock up the papers, taking special care of his art, though they are in a folder, keeping them safe. After a few seconds, he at least has everything in his bag.
"Last call for boarding!" The speakers of the station call out.
"Just in time! I may make it in time for school now!" Tesunie gets on the cable car just as the door closes. "I'm gonna be on time for once."
(Just for the record, this is three pages, double spaced and in 12 point font.)

This is for any interesting writing projects I may have. I figured you may want to take a look at what else I do.
(Maybe I should condense the two art thread into one? Comic stays, or maybe should be deleted untill I have time to draw it out....)

Tsk, most writing projects aren't all that glamour. Plus, you seem to be filling most of the places. -points to my only 1 thread-
