spimky It just occured to me that Johnny would've been really great in Brokeback Mountain.
I know it doesn't seem like his 'type' at all, but it's really, such a beautiful film, and it would've been great to add it to his list of diverse roles. <3 At first I laughed when I read this. Then I actually went "He would go for that role and I wouldn't thing anything strange of it". Who would be the other leading man?

Haha, I know, I was thinking about how odd it would've been, but how if it really happened, I wouldn't find it weird at all. If that makes any sense. O_o;;
That's a good question... I really like Heath Ledger, so perhaps uh, Jake Gyllenhaal could just... erm, be replaced by him... *sheepish grin*

I heard that he was asked to be in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. That would've made that movie 100,000,000 times better, and that he was asked to be Lestat in Interview With The Vampire. I'm torn on that. I am in love with Tom Cruise as Lestat, but Johnny would've been gorgeous as well...

He did turn down the role of Lestat in Interview with the Vampire, which he would of done fantastically! Much better than Tom Cruise.
I always thought he would of made a good Aragorn. xD But Viggo Mortensen was awesome...and hot. xD
He also turned down the role of Tristan in Legend of the Falls, which ultimately Brad Pitt did perfectly anyway. xD
He passed the role of Jackie Boy in Sin City due to other commitments...I could so of seen him as Jackie Boy though. ;.;

I think that with enough makeup and voice training he would have made an incredible Phantom of the Opera... the tortured soul parts just seem to fit him well.

Oh my lots to reply to! ^_^
First- I don't see Johnny as Snape. As wonderful as he is it just doesn't fit well to my mind. Alan Rickman was cast perfectly. I do wish that Johnny could be a cast member though. But he's from...from...some southern state. Kentucky? I think so....So alas will not happen.
I think Tom Cruise did very good as Lestat. I don't normally like Cruise, but this one...man. It takes a certain energy to play the character, a certain type of manic energy, that Johnny has, but not in the same way.
As Frank'n'Furter? No. Just no. *shakes head* Sorry.
As Jack in Titanic? I don't know. I enjoyed the innocence that DiCaprio gave it, but no doubt I would enjoy Mr. Depp's vision.

ok, just watched another movie, and although it was incredible as it was, Johnny would have been incredible in the title role of "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (not knocking Gary Oldman at all, he was awesome!). That may just be my strong desire to see him as a vampire, though.
