REBIRTH - I
After a series of mutiny from her crew, Captain Sway set out once again to restart her pirating days. She had already been through so much, but there was still plenty of the world to see. Time to start anew with new friends, only a couple stayed by her side. Her best mate, and second-in-command, Eireen of the City of Frozen Rain, was one of them. They contrasted each other almost perfectly. Sway was red, of fire, hot-tempered, and loved to fight while Eireen was of blue, water, and was collected and calm. However, Sway could be calm if she wished and Eireen was secretly a little devil on the inside. They shared a lot in common, such as the love for the sea.
Their ship came into a port in the fair city of Ciftin. It was a quaint city, perfect for not attracting attention to yourself, exactly what Sway needed. After saving a fellow captain from a pirate-killing city with a mad governor, Sway had raised her bounty by another couple million. She didn't regret it. After all, she's done a lot more exciting and dangerous things.
For example, she and her crew stirred up trouble in a small city of ancient dragons. She got away with what she wanted, and did it with style. A tooth of a white dragon, purer than any diamond, and whiter than any cloud now sat in an ivory case in her cabin. She also made enemies with other pirates. She didn't approve of their ways, the way they pillaged made her ashamed of them having a flag over their ships. "They're no better than common thieves," she would say as she faced them head on in battle. Sway is sometimes said to be a pirate hunter, and she resents it. Ridding the world of that filth is nothing but a common courtesy, they were no pirates, and they'll never call themselves as such ever again.
Her crew was never defeated. The best of the best would stay on her ship. Some had amazing skills, others had magic. Sway herself had both, as did Eireen and several others soon to come....

A LITTLE HISTORY ~The Beginning~ - II
The Captain wasn't unknown where she was born and raised. However, she wasn't a stereotypical princess either. She was betrothed at a young age, but the gun-slinging girl wanted to do more than get married in her life. The boy was nice, sure, but her life was calling. Her fiance agreed, and whisked her off to sea, where she set off on her own. Sway probably would go back to him. Probably. She hardly remembered his face, but knew his name and how kind he was. The ship she was on headed north. It got colder on the ocean, and Sway bundled up. When the ship finally found a port, it was snowing. Sway stepped on to the snow.
"Hello there miss! What are you doing here this cold winter day?" a young man tying up the boat on dock asked her.
"Winter, sir? But, it should be spring...." Sway said, clutching her cloak closer.
"Haha! It's always winter here!" the man said laughing.
Sway wandered away from the port into an inn and rented a room. She left home with a hefty fare, so she was able to afford anything she needed.
"Name miss!" the woman at the counter said.
"Oh, excuse me," Sway said, snapping out of her excitement of being away from home. "It's Claire Soluna Lucifel Feenicks VII of Xavios."
"...Right, Claire it is," the woman said after looking a little confused. Sway wasn't the Captain's real name, of course, the change will come soon enough. Until then, let's shift the name to Claire for a while.
Claire asked the woman, "Is there a boutique around here?"
"A boutique deary? Sure, there's a store next door," the woman pointed, Claire turned around and exited the inn.
She walked in and picked out some clothes. It's time to ditch the fancy, princess act, she decided. She was naturally polite, it's not like she could help it. But when she was around people she knew, she could be the hot-head everyone knew and loved.
