White paws made their way across the the soft grass as Amai Kabocha slunk across it, her striped tail wagging. She had gone pretty far she figured, much futher than her sister ever had in her random short travles outside the family. But Amai was different, she was looking for something that Jumanji wasn't, she was looking for someone to train her how to heal.

Granted healer cheetahs, lions, and leopards were few and far between. Amai hadn't been looking hard enough maybe? She wasn't sure, all she really knew was that she couldn't find what it was that she really wanted or really needed.

"Bah..... maybe it's around the bend, or corner, or in the high frosty mountains?" Amai babbled to herself aimlessly.

The scent of other cheetahs caught her attention as Amai kept walking. She didn't understand the concept of boundaries yet, since she wasn't born within the confines of one. So of course she just kept walking along like she belonged there, small orange head up, little white ears flicking to and fro.

When you had legs as long as Afiya had, well you let them take you all over the place, as long as it was within the boundries. His slender, though very large frame movesd accross the coalition lands swiftly, silently, hits head held high in the ultimate knowlege that he was in a place that he lived, and was safe, though the world beyond the borders facinated him, as it did most youngsters, he had no currant wont to leave and say good bye to his family. For now he was satisfied with his lot in life so to speak.

Comming through a feild of long grass the young adolecent stood tall, his golden eyes capturing the sunlight in to which he fully emerged. He was very large, even for a male cheetah and he wasnt' exactly impossible to spot, though his fur colour certainly waranted him quite alot of camoflage, not that he thought he needed it. His name was afiya, strength, for a reason, he was the strongest of colche's Trins and was damn proud of it.

Golden eyes followed the lands and the little deep, golden orange spot in the distance. "Hullo.." He whispered under his breath as he tilted that proud head curiously. Shrugging his shoulders and putting on his best greeting face he padded on over to meet the,w hat seemed to him, a very young female. Maybe she was lost? There were alot of females around and always new cubs ont he lands. He didn't know everyone alfter all.

Green eyes flashed up to look at the rather large male on the hill in the distance. The instinct to run from confrontations hadn't come up in Amai's code at all, she hadn't stayed long enough to learn it at all. So instead of turnning and running, Amai actually picked up some speed and trotted up the small hill to sit down before the large males paws.

The orange and black spoted female was tiny by the standards of cheetahs, so to be sitting before one that was actually large by the standards of cheetahs, even if she was a cub was a little daunting. Why in the world she didn't run would be beyond anyone staring at the two of them.

"Hello!" Amai called up to him, raising her voice a tad so that he could hear her at all. Her tail thrashed back and forth across the ground hyperly, wagging like her father's always did.

Afiya tilted his head at the little female and grinned playfully, dropping to his belly so that he didn't seem so terrebly daunting. Even at this age, barely adolecent, he outsized his mother, he wa going to be one large Cheetah probably more the size of a lion when he was fully grown. His large paws, with their forever visable, 'trackshoe' claws crossed as he gave a little nod to the youngster. "Are ya klost out here? D'ya need me ta help ya find ya mammy?" He raised a brow and grinned sheepishly. He didn't get to speak to many cheetahs, considering the size of the colalition lands and his new wont to travel, at least to the borders, taking up his place as a patrol cheetah, watching the borders for trouble, he didnt know whos cubs were whos any more. This youngster as far as he was concerned was more than likely one that was lost from the central tree area.

His own tail swayed gently behind him as he watched her with a cheery smile on his multi coloured maw. He was to say the least a friendly lad, willing to help out where he could, using that which he was blessed, strength, to help those in need. Or at least that was what he had promised to do, he hadn't done much of it yet, the coalition lands had been rather quiet and deathly boreing for a young, out to proove himself male. Still, he was happy enough to guard the borders for now, at least until something more interesting showed up...

"Nope. I left my parents to come and find a healer." Amai said back in her equally as cheerful voice. Of course she didn't know where she was, she didn't figure that she EVER would know where she was anymore. "Who're you?"

A smile graced her white muzzle as she thumped her striped tail against the ground happily, keeping both of her shock green eyes on him so she could watch his every move. As the smallest of any cheetah born on the savannah, Amai found herself looking up at quite the monster of a cheetah. At first it was strange, but then she also figured that everything in this world had to be different, so why not go with the flow? After all, she'd met up with Amile and a large red lion that loved to make others happy and teach them how to pet fish. That made her happy.

So why not a huge cheetah that was incredibly friendly to even the smallest cub?

The large king marked male flickered his tail, a slightly worried look crossing his brow. "You've been travelling all alone?" he tilted his larger than aveage head and fidgeted with his fore paws. He couldn't acctually imagine travelling without his brothers, well not further than the edge of the coalition lands any way. Not that the world was scary, it was simply that he loved his family.

"Oh, I'm sorry, My names Afiya, son of Colche, eldest of the trins, and border guard of the dumabara lands. Which was why I'm out this far." He grinned, he was proud of his heritage, that he was old enough to be a border guard now and that he knew every inch of his home land like the back of his paw.

"Maybe you should come with me. You could meet my mother and the other cheetahs, I'v not seen any healers around here but we'll fill your belly befoe you go on your way again." He grinned sheepishly, he could hardly imagine her travellign aroundon ehr own, she was so, well, tiny. Still, his mother always said big things came in little pakages, maybe she was one of those cases, still, he thought her very brave to travel from who knows where in to who knows what, he almost felt, protective of this little mite, even though he'd only just met her. To think, anything could happen to her out there. It was a frightening world and home was safe, yet she wasbraving it. He smiled a little, feeling a spark in his chest. He could go and see the world really, he was big enough to follow any path he wished and not be eaten, how strange that somone so small and brave could wake up this dormant feeling in him.

"Well? Would you like to come? My mothers very, well, motherly, but she'll make sure you get a good meal before you go any where" he chuckled brightly, going to stand, though he waited her responce first.

"Yep, I travle all alone all the time. I'm trying to find a healer to teach me how to help others with their pains." Amai said in her sweet little voice, eyes closed in a gentle smile and tail sifting over the ground like her father's had wagged all the time she grew up.

Blinking up at him with his name and the entire long description that came with it, Amai debated how she would tell him her name for a moment before finally settling on one. She was after all her mother's daughter.

"Nice to meet you Afiya, I'm Amai Kabocha, daughter of Korou and Colche and the youngest of two." She thought for a moment if she should add anything else but shrugged lightly and settled on just that.

Deep inside her orange chest beat the heart of an adventurer. She'd gotten it from her father and mother both. Their paws had travled nearly all over the savannah. And thanks to their instincts, Amai knew exactly what she was doing when she went off on her own.

"Only if you want me to." she said simply, her same gentle smile on her muzzle.

He smiles then the burly male and got to his foot paws once again. "C'mon then, I'll take you to see my mother, be warned she may motehr you to death though." He grinned and rolled his eyes as he turned off towards the large dark shape of the giant baoboab tree in the distance. "Korou you said? I'm sure I'v heard that name some place before" The large male pursed his lips trying to remember. He had been a very young cub when he had acctually met Korou and his faint memory of the other male had washed away with time and adventures. "Prolly someone my mum knows." He shrugged his shoulders giving a little pur as he trotted along.

He paused for a moment to glance back and make sure she could keep up with him, he did have long legs, being such a large cheetah, he sometimes forgot he was walking so fast. he didn't want to loose his new little friend. "Amai, 'snice name. And thats a strange kinda quest. I'm sure you'll find a healer some where, though you're welcome to stay 'ere for a bit. Noone complains about new cheetahs arrivin' here, theres a big load of us livin' around here, coalition my mum says, I just think it's a bunch of us knockin' about but we look after each other." He smiles cheekily his tail giving a long, wide sweep.

"A coalition sounds cool, maybe I'll come back after I find my healer." Amai mused after he'd finished talking. It was difficult for the little female to keep up with him, but she managed it all the same. He might have taken a fast pace but Amai had been spending so much time running around that she was able to keep up fairly well.

"Your mom sounds nice at least. Most mothers are mothering, that's why they're mothers. I usued to ignore my mom when she was like that." She said as she trotted up to his shoulder at his pause. "Maybe your mom does know pappa. What's your mom's name?" She smiled at him innocently and nodded.

Afiya smiled lightly, flickering his long tail behind him. "Colche, she's a story teller, always full of tales of the world she is." His golden eyes twinkled as he started to walk once again. "She's a good mother, she raised us well, me and my brothers." He gave a nod and continued to pad onwards, his pale tail tip twitching every so often. "You kniow, I think I have met your father, I was young though, I faintly remember him though! I'm sure my mother will know him. She seems to know everyone sometimes." He chuckled.

Looking in to the distance he nodded at the huge tree which was growing steadily closer. "Thats the central tree, everyone gatheres together there, motehr will be there so you can meet ehr" He gives a light nod and a smile. "This pl;ace could do with a healerr. I hope the world grants you what you're looking for amai" A strange sort of thing to say but it sounded mostly right in his ears.

"Oh so you remember him?" Amai asked, looking up the distance at him and wagging her tail hyperly. It was nice to know that her family was known, that someone out there other than her mother and her sister knew of her father, it meant that maybe they weren't as secluded as she'd at one time believed. That they weren't as unknown. Especially if this male and his mother knew her blind father even though they lived so far from where Amai had just travled, lived so far away from where Amai was used to.

"Well I'm sure your mother must be quite nice and I wouldn't mind coming back to teach someone some of my healer abilities once I learn some more." Amai laughed sheepishly, letting her ears drop because she didn't know all of them just yet. Though she knew what herbs to use for what, or most of them. Amai was definetly good at memorizing things, that much was true.

Lifting her green eyes to glance at the largest tree she'd EVER seen in her life, Amai suddenly beamed. "It's so big!"

Afiya smiled. "Yeah I seem to remember a big male whom came to see my mother when I was younger, she said he was like her son." He grinned sheepishly as they crested the rise and he padded over to the huge tree that was the central gathering area for the cheetah coalition. "Mother" he called simply, his rough voice carrying around the area making several other cheetahs glance his way. He grinned sheepishly, "Hey mum where are you?" he chipped then, making a whisteling sound which his mother usually answered to.

And today was no exception, the small, slender femme came out from around the great tree with a yawn, her perfect blue eyes glistening in the shade and sunlight. She raised a brow at her son as she trotted over to him buffesing her head against his large thick shoulders. "I know you're still my cub Afiya but whisteling doesn't get my attention you know." She smiled sweetly as she sits on her behind and pulls his head down with her fore paws. "Your ears are filthy what have you been up to?"

"Muuum! ack no leggo!" the large male protested though he didn't much wriggle knowing full well his mother would get her way however much he struggled. For somone so little she had command of her sons. He sighed sheepishly, sitting himself down so she could chean his ears. "Mum I'v braught somone to see you and you're embarrassing me!" he cleared his throat looking up at her with golden eyes.

Colche paused mid lick to look at her son's visitor. She finally released his head and gave a gentle puurr "Well hello there." Her voice was a gentle whisper as she looked the cub over, tilting her head slightly and giving a nod. "Come let em look at you. Afiya has never braught a cheetah home before, and who are you?" She held one paw forwards beconing the youngster to her a serene smile on her face.

Blinking as the smaller female took complete control over Afiya with the barest of moves, Amai was reminded faintly of her mother and of her blind father. Her father could always take control with just one move of clearing his throat.

"Hello." A smile spread over Amai Kabocha's white muzzle and she trotted forward slowly to the larger female, sitting down and looking up at her with gentle eyes. "My name's Amai Kabocha, but my daddy just calls me Amai."

Her tail thrashed back and forth, wagging like her father's always had. It wasn't rare for her to meet people, in fact she met them ALL the time, but apparently Afiya knew her father, so that made her intreigued.

"Amai, it's a very pretty name." The king marked femme smiled softly, her gentle dusty blue eyes watching the pretty little female with a careing that she had for all youngsters. "I used to know somone a long time ago whom used to wag his tail too." She gave a soft puurr then, there was only one other cheetah she had ever known that wagged his tail. She remembered him fondly.

Afiya raised a brow then, his mother always surprised him how she could remember everyone and their little foibles in a heart beat. "This is Korou's daughter mum" he grins broadly. "She's training to be a healer." His tail swished then as he sat with his toes tightly pulled together watching his small mother, she liked to look after everyopne he knew that but she was always so nice to everyone any way. He wondered how she did it. Some creatures just rubbed him the wrong way.

Colche's draw dropped for a moment. Korous daughter? "Oh sweet pea, I should have recognised his colours." She pulls the little femme towards her chest then, her smile widening. "Tell me how is your father? As handsome as ever?" She gave a little chuckling laugh her sweet dusty blue eyes smiling happily. "He spoke so fondly of his mate last I saw him."
