Said by pooldude (Distant Horizon's source) to be the title of the third episode of the new season. The episode after that is 'Sokka's Master'.
Nothing is really known about this episode currently, but rumors abound over whether the painted lady is Mai, Suki, Ursa, a new character, or even Azula.

yea, i would think it would have to do with Suki, but b/c its 'Painted Lady' Avatar Kyoshi makes more sense. Nothing against Suki ( heart ), but Kyoshi is more 'lady-like' id guess ud say surprised

Nothing against Suki ( heart ), but Kyoshi is more 'lady-like' id guess ud say surprised It will most likely be avatar kyoshi or suki.This late into the show I'm guessing they won't bring in any new main characters.Mai and Azula don't wear much makeup and they really aren't very "lady" like.It could be Ursa but not likely plus I don't think that they'd bring her back that early into season 3.

I think it could be an alternate persona for Mai. After all we've been told that Zuko will look for his mother in the new season, as well as meet up with Mai. What if she pulls a Blue Spirit on him and secretly leads him to details about his mom?

So, the episode just aired... And allow me to say something: "KATARA IS THE MOST HARD-CORE FEMALE CHARACTER IN THE UNIVERSE!!"
My god she's awesome. She rivals even Hinata :O

the fact that it was a katara episode made me gack a bit.
i knew it was her all along. no doubt she did a good job
the ending was pretty bad. *enter spirit* thank you. *exit spirit*
and whats with sokka saying 'wake up earlier and eat less'?? the real sokka would never say that. i feel bad for toph. she gets a few lines per episode, but i did laugh when she said, 'maybe we could clean the river!'
i must say the real painted lady was pretty dam awesome

i am a bit disapointed with the fighting scene, i was hoping more, and then the villigers got over the problem that katara is there painted lady, i was hoping more contraversy.

Tophs line was the best of the episode.

Its true that it was not a very intriguing eppisode, I also hoped the fire nation villigers would be more up and arms. I think that the hatred bettween the different nations is not being played out enough. I did love katara in this and how it shows a repeating pattern of how maternal and powerful and protective she is. She looked great by the way!!!! Awsome outfit. I did like the guy with lots of hats thing, "you just put on a hat and pretended to be anther person! my brother---- does that. He's crazy @_@".
I also liked at the end seeing that spirit, but it wasnt enough of her.
