I was wondering, since it's starting to happen to me. What should you do if you're being ignored by the members of an rp. No matter what I do, it seems either A. They don't respond at all or B. Something happens on the part of someone else so the person ends up not reacting
It's really starting to tick me off, so what should I do?

Try to talk to them. Or have someone secretly pass a message by contacting them by PM. Or you can just leave and slap that mother -fweep-er later on.

They may not know how to react to your post. I have been known to ignore a post that makes no sense, but I usually PM the person, or post my questions about their post, so they know I saw it.
You can either: -Get out of the role play, they don't want to play with you. -Keep posting untill someone does respond, if you post enough, they will either get sick of you, or they will finally find a way to react to you. -PM someone in the role play and ask why they haven't responded, or see if they can help get you into the role play. Be polite about this. If you are rude about it, they wont help/wont let you join. -Try to post your character's reactions near their characters, maybe even take the direct route and have your character walk up and say hello.
If you want, you can post a link here and I will check it out more. It may help me tell you what you can do about it. It just might be they can't respond to you yet. I have been in some role plays, where no one could respond to me. Once they could, they did though.
(If you know the water tower in the World of Elemental Warriors guild, then you can read what I am talking about.)

What you mean by advertising thing? I let other guilds (role play based ones at least) advertise in my guild. People seem to look in here and it has helped some guilds.
Did you mean something else?
(I can be too nice sometimes.)

I maybe the problem myself. I tend to either create characters who wouldn't be outgoing enough or place them in roles where they couldn't just go up to someone. I also tend to put my characters where absolutely nothing is going on...

Maybe you should have your characters kinda 'fall' into things. I do the same things myself, but I usually rape them up into the story somehow. Have you tried PMing someone there, asking for help to get into the role play? They might be able to help you find a way to sneak in, even with a bashful character.
