RULES AND REGULATIONS
Here are two sets of rules for the guild. One for the public and regular members, and one for crew members. I expect all rules to be followed faithfully.
Rules for Public and Regular Members:
1.) The most important rule! This applies to everyone, including Crew! Please fully obey all of Gaia's Terms of Service and Rules & Guidelines!
2.) Respect each other's opinions! It is okay to have a differing opinion from someone else's. But there is no need to argue and bicker about each other's opinions! If your opinion about something is conflicting with another's, simply agree to disagree, and leave it at that.
3.) Respectful debate! No "arguing"! Calm, collected and respectful debate about topics is allowed. Arguing is not! This rule goes hand-in-hand with rule 2.
4.) No flaming! Not everyone is equal. Some people have different levels of intelligence. Some people have trouble speaking English because they were raised speaking another language. Some people have more or less experience on Gaia than others. None of these are reasons to get angry at someone. Please take it easy on people who are different. We are all human in the end!
5.) Respect copyrights! Many Capoeira songs are written by someone who holds copyrights to that song(s). Please do not post lyrics to songs that have copyrights on them. However, if the song is a traditional song, then you may post the lyrics to it. Also, please do not post pictures or videos that you do not own the rights to.
6.) No cursing! Foul language of any kind is not allowed in this guild!
7.) No spamming, except in "The Chatterbox" thread. The only place in this guild that spam is allowed is in "The Chatterbox" thread. Do not spam anywheres else in the guild. If spam is found outside The Chatterbox, it will be deleted upon discovery.
Rules for Crew Members:
1.) Be polite to all members! Just because you're a crew member, and someone else is not, doesn't mean you have the right to be rude to them. As a crew member, you are asked to please be kind and polite to everyone in the guild.
2.) Edit posts only if they need editing. eg.: Spelling/Grammar mistakes. Rules/TOS violations.
3.) Delete posts only if they need to be deleted. eg. Post is old, dead and taking up space, or post is seriously violating Rules/TOS, or spamming outside of Chatterbox.
4.) If you must edit or delete a fellow crew member's post, please ask them, first.
That's all for now. If I think up any more rules, I'll add them. If you have a suggestion for a rule, suggest it in this thread.
