ok, so i got ALITTLE better at drawing a head that stares straight at you. surprised
i learn slowly.
now, the problem is the hair i add to it looks like some sort of deceased roadkill or dark hay :XP:
both options arent exacly good. so, the question is this:
how do you draw animeish hair?

I know this sounds tacky and this isn't something you'd want to post on the internet to show off, but it helped me with drawing. What I did is I looked at a picture that is by an artist I like, and I copied it. Over time, I became able to draw things like hair on my own with no reference in my own style. If you don't want to do that, you also could just look at other artworks and reference how they drew the hair. Tutorials help loads, too. =3 Good luck.

I agree with Midori-chan; copying (I like to call them master copies, aka imitating a drawing or other artwork done by a master artist in the hopes of learning their style and techniques) is a good way to learn. We just don't allow you to post your results in this guild since people tend to not mention the original artist.
