I like games, what can I say? I like video games because it soothes my mind, believe it or not. People think it’s stressful, but not for me. But video games are not the only types of gaming that I do. I also enjoy board games and card games. Those are usually what I do with family. My nephew just learned how to play Uno, so guess what I did this weekend? Yep.

My friends and I do a different type of gaming. It’s best known as a role-playing game. Think of Dungeons and Dragons. Now, substitute that with vampires, werewolves and mages, and that’s what we game. I have Dungeons and Dragons. I can’t get into it. I am more of a White Wolf girl. White Wolf develops supernatural role-playing games that take place in the present time. So, imagine vampires coming out at night, soon after you left a club. I likey a lot. Another role-playing game that we do is Exalted. I am still new to it. It’s another reality in witch certain races have certain powers. I like Sidereals. They are celestial beings that believe to have created everything….or something like that. Anyway, they make sure everything is done as it is supposed to.

In the summer, I shall be hosting a game. That is when I get to create a story/plot line and watch what my characters/players do as it unravels. Think of it as me being God and people playing in my world. A whole lot of fun. So yea, my game is going to be so much fun. I can’t wait. It’s more of a sequel, really. Last year, I did a vampire game and it came out nicely. I am so in love with my main villain and the way the players developed that I kept thinking of a possible second game. My first game ended in a way that a sequel could possibly happen. This is what I got for a teaser trailer:

Mother’s Misty Maneuvers: Hope Kissing Gehenna
Two years ago, the allusion of fallen angels returning to heaven and regaining their titles stopped the world from unknown tangles that could have caused chaos and destruction. But by doing so, a greater evil was unleashed the moment she regained all knowledge of her past. Now, with the memory of a forgotten vendetta, and the power to reshape what she was once given as her garden, she walks with the determination of ending anything in her way. Right now, one thing exists that she wants more than anything: The Child of Light.

Rumors spread fast about a young girl whose spiritual essence surpasses that of anything else alive. With her spirit, mages can become stronger, vampires may become pardon of their damnation and werewolves can end the lingering of creatures from the spirit world. Some consider her a gift from God; others, the destruction of humanity. But what is her exact purpose? Why is she, a child long forgotten through the years, now present? Madness reigns high as long as she continues to walk the streets.

Coming summer 2007

This game includes graphic violence, suggestive themes, strong language and partial nudity.

Having played tabletop rpg's since the age of 15, I have played most of these games, except for Exalted. But, if you would like, I would like to join in your next game.

I still feel like a noob sometimes. I think it's mainly because I am a girl. The guys tend to know what they are saying or ask me why I have not learned weapon rules, for example. Because I don't. I like the creativity part of it. And if I wanted to know something, I search for it in the book. Tee hee!
