They're ridiculously rare in America, most people there have to order them online. But every Kikki.K has them here, it's <3.
And Kikki.K is a super-high-end stationary shop. It really is like the Jeffrey of Stationary. They sell things like moleskines, really good fountain pens, cream-print paper, leatherbound notekbooks with actaul leather and not that crappy rubbery stuff, etc. It's mostly for fancy things like wedding invitations and stuff.

Well it seems like this spring I'll be able to purchase moleskin in New York... that sounds like fun *makes plans to go spend mass amounts of money for no particular reason* XD
There are some good photos in that collection. All of theirs tuff is colourcoded like that. The larger stores also have pieces of art inside that reflect this. Things like sculptures made of books, where the books are all one colour at the top, and all another colour at the bottom, and the statue is made of books that are a gadient between these. It looks freaking awesome.

I don't know why people think the moleskine's are so expensive. Sure, you can get a twenty cent notebook at a gas station, but the paper is that econo-crisp stuff that feels like crap and dries your fingers when you touch it. The moleskines are like ten bucks, which considering the cost of cream print, is pretty low.
