This is (part of) my ten gallon, with one of my Gold Gouramis (Brettney) and one of my baby Dojo Loaches (Sebastian, I think). THe plants haven't had enough time to take over the tank so they're looking a little sparse, and the water isn't cloudy as it looks in the picture. I'll have to get a picture of my Betta's setup, later. Share pictures of your tanks!

You've got a nice little Gourami there, Super Goo~ <3 It will be nice to see your tank when the plants settle in and get happy! ^^
Here are pictures of my two set ups. I hope I didn't post too many.. gonk
I took these pictures back at the start of December, so my tanks have changed a bit since then. Especially my 55 gallon, as there has been quite a bit of growth from my Hygrophelia in the left corner and one of my Dwarf Water Lilys. I've also removed the plastic log, pot and a couple tropical plants since then (they seemed to be drowning ^^;; ).
Anyway, please excuse my amature photography and don't laugh at the names of my fish! ;w;
I'll start off with my 29 gallon (or 109.7 litre) aquarium, which currently houses my three fancy goldfish.
There are three golfish occupying this tank:
Name: Udon Type: Blackmoore Age: 1+ years Sex: Believed to be female
Name: Konohamaru Type: Calico Veil Tail (Uh, we think~ Please feel free to correct me!) Age: 1+ years Sex: Believed to be female
Name: Luffy Type: Orange Lionhead (We used to think it may be a Ranchu, but he's grown a tad more into what seems to be a Lionhead. Still kind of unsure though..) Age: 1+ years Sex: Believed to be male
Mr. Hey-There (my sister) and I recently aquired this tank in November as an early birthday present for her. We used to have three ghost shrimp living in the tank with the goldfish, but they were gobbled up. (I'm not surprised lol.) We believe the culprit of at least two of the casualties to be Konohamaru. I doubt Udon ate any of them, because he has terrible eye-sight. The shrimp were molting at the time. It's my fault for not providing them with enough shelter. (Whoops~ ^^; ) The only one they had was a cave-like tunnel Mr. Hey-There made under one of the larger rocks.
It's okay though, because Konohamaru grew significantly thereafter. rofl

Here are some pictures of my 55 gallon (or 208 litres) aquarium. It is currently housing two generations (the children and grandchildren of my first female guppy, who died, and possibly the children of the first male guppy, but I have no idea if he fathered anyone yet) of guppies, and one guppy from a different "family", if you will.
I have around 30+ adults and 20~25 fry that survived from various births. There are only five guppies that are actually named, since they are so difficult to keep track of. An adult male with an orange and yellow blazed tail named Yondaime, the original male named Grumpy Fins ( rofl ), a young guppy, possibly female, (just out of fry-dom) named Itachi, one named Sasuke (black with a gorgeous, smooth silver face)and a pretty female who seems to constantly be knocked up I like to reffer to as Lisa Frank (because her tail has a lot of the typical colours found in Lisa Frank art <3). I'm hoping to name them all eventually.
All of the adults are somewhere around 7 to 8 months old I believe.

Yeah, I'm rather fond of my 29gal as well. Sadly, I will probably have to remove the short stalks of bamboo, because I am worried that they will pretty much drown while being fully submerged. I really have no idea what I am doing when it comes to plants lol~
Maybe I will replace the short stalks with some mossy stones, or something similar. I really haven't decided yet. ;-;
Sometimes I want to pull my hair out over these tanks. I'm terrible at making final decisions with them! XD

XDbamboo can be fully submurged in water and live forever, but it will never grow. it has to have a certain mix of water to grow, very picky. Mine was stunted most of its life so i backed off the water and it died crying but it was in a pot with rocks and stuff, yours will be fine EDIT: some fish may eat it, thats not cool lol. but goldfish wont

Oh, thanks you guys!
I was pretty worried for the shorter stalks I have in there, but I'm glad to know they will be fine. I'm sort of glad to know that they wont grow too, because I like them just fine at the hight they are currently.
I'm also glad to know that my goldfish wont bother it. I didn't think they would since the leaves are pretty tough and my goldfish are lazy.. (Except for the orange one, he's a little crazy.) Going to have to move my goldfish from that soon though, since they are starting to grow a bit. (Guess it's because I changed their diet.) I wasn't expecting them to get any bigger for a while, but I'm happy they are getting nice and healthy.
I'll just be putting guppies in there after I move the goldfish out, so I don't think they would bother the bamboo much either. (Er.. hopefully. LOL)
Right now my guppies are out of the big tank and in a tub with ornaments and plants while I make my 55gal a goldfish safe environment. rofl
I'll be taking pictures more pictures after I have everyone in their new homes. It will take a while though, since I'm having some issues with the tank right now. ;-;

It will take a while though, since I'm having some issues with the tank right now. ;-; you have to be carefull with goldfish, they get prety big, 2 of them is all that you should keep in a 30 gallon tank and it should have the filtration of nearly a 60 gallon tank (or so i've heard). Thats not so much for when they're young but for when they get larger, even indoors goldfish can grow to be a foot long if you give them enough space. But don't worry if they never get that big, you need a large tank for that, just make sure that your giving them PLENTY of filtration and not cramping them all together as they grow.

by the way sorry if i sound like a text book sometimes, i've had alot of people [when i worked at a pet store] who would just completely ignore my advice and then wonder why their fish were dying. One lady kept wanting to put tropical fish with cold water fish (goldfish) and when I explained it to her still wanted to do it x.x....

Egad, Kyosuke.. That would probably make me pretty aggrivated if I were in your shoes. It's bad enough I have to debate with my mother about those types of things, but to do it every day at work? gonk
Oh, and yeah~ I've been doing partial water changes frequently on the 29gal. I'm in the process of moving them into my 55gal right now. Just need to finish cleaning, replanting and cycling it and it will be all ready for 'em! (:
Then half of my guppies will be taking the goldfish's old home and the other half will be remaining in the tub they are all currently in. (I've decided to keep them Mamas away from the Daddies. They are a bit too friendly these days. T.T;;;; omgbabies. )
