Sanspo releases a fan report from Osaka concerning Yoshizawa Hitomi. They state that she had a professional spirit and lacked tears like a real pro.
Yoshizawa cries inside but doesn’t show it on her face during the Osaka performance. Yoshizawa showed her cheerfulness and energy throughout the concert. Yoshizawa states that since she is graduating this spring from Morning Musume she will go forth until her graduation day. The performance being 100 minutes long caused the fan to notice sadness breaking through in her voice as the concert went on. This caused the other members to cheer with more energy.
The wake for Yoshizawa’s brother was also on that day so she rushed from there to work and even in the dressing room with the other members the talk of her brother’s death was not discussed.
Fans of Yossi’s came to Osaka to show their support even if they lacked a ticket into the arena. The fans without tickets gathered in the park infront of the hall to show their support to Yossi. A man from Kobe stated he saw the news on television and sympathized with Yoshizawa stating that he wanted to cry after the performance. A man carrying Yossi merchandise stated that “After this, we fans will continue to support [Yoshizawa] in the future.” The same man then testifies that Yossi had been seen with a lot more make-up on during the performance than usual. Perhaps so the fans couldn’t see her tear stricken face.
At the end of the evening performance the crowd began chanting “Yossi” and it continued on for about two minutes. Yoshizawa remained professional until the last minute and Sanspo said it best in that Yoshizawa’s little brother in Heaven is probably looking down on his elder sister proudly.
