The guild isn't completely in the gutter yet; sure, it's not in the best condition, but we manage. Moving does seem like a good choice for the time being, though. That way we can start fresh, get new members, and have some order. If Zae does come back, we could always just move back here or whatever.

If we do decide to do something, we could either move to a thread or another guild. If we move to a thread, the new GM would have to create the thread using a mule, like Inso said, to avoid problems in changing the front page. But off-topicness would have to be kept to a minimum. Have you seen the threads in the GCP? A lot of them move really slowly even though they're on-topic (but then again, none of them have updates everyday).

If we move to another guild, someone (or a group of people) could buy a completely new one and then start a new game there. If there's a group of people running a guild, power and responsibility would be divided. Things would probably run smoother too if the guild's VCs and mods communicated and cooperated with each other and the guild members when making changes or decisions.

If there's one thing that I would suggest, it would be this: pick a group of people to help facillitate the move (5-7 would be a good number). Pick a wide variety of people; an older player, a newer player, someone older, someone younger - pick anyone so long as you think they can handle the responsibility. With a group of people, nobody is stuck with having to deal with everything on their own, power is distributed, and the group can talk about what should be done and what they shouldn't interfere with. *shrug* That's just a suggestion, though.

Still, if you want things to happen, you can't just sit on the fence. I'll offer to help out as well, but I won't shy away from stepping up if no one else does 3nodding .

I found that we got along just fine without the stickies. Sure, it's slightly annoying but its not something worth getting totally wankerish over.

Meru, you really do need to get over that. Many people were assholes and made things bad, and we see and know and realize that. Yelling at us doesn't change that it happened, and neither does it improve anything. The guild isn't fine. We dug ourselves into a hole. We can't fix things here. We're trying to live and grow. But I really don't see how sitting around in a guild we have no power in is helping at all. How do you propose we stay here and deal with things?

If you want someone to take charge I can do it.

I took charge the last two games for GM crap. More then the last two games for gm crap actually, but I dont count the games when I did it as V.C because then it was my responsibility, which is why I did it. The last 2 times its because no one else took the initiative. I also took the initiative to start the anniversary party planning. And seeing how I havent had the time to keep up the anniversary thread because of my class, its died because no one else in this guild likes to do stuff. Same thing with Snipecast. And Psycho Mintz. I like to get stuff done, and not just talk about it all the time. Talk is lame.

I actually truly believe we're ********. Because no one does anything. How long do we all sit around waiting for someone else to take charge and make the final desicison? For ******** ever. Its horrible. How long did we talk about making a podcast, before me, Roger, Ana, and Wren were all "FINE LETS JUST DO IT >.<" and how often did we discuss making a hangout guild to cut down on off-topicness before me, Buzz, and Psycho, were all "******** THAT LETS JUST DO IT >.<" and how long did we wait before starting gm apps this last game before I was like "RAWRG LETS JUST DO IT."?

You know what I should go make the new ******** guild RIGHT NOW. But I wont. Because I'm not entirely sure its best. That and I dont want to hear about how im elitist or a control freak because I like to run stuff because no one else will.

But hey if anyone ever does decide to step up to the plate and DO SOMETHING then im all for helping you get s**t done. And I actually will do it and not just say I will.

A: I've been around since the middle of game two. I was gone for the game with all the drama in it. And B: I was just setting it up and was going to give it to whoever was put into power. I know full well I am highly undeserving of running the guild for this beloved game.
