Yep. I finished up episode 136 a few days ago, and heard that I've entered the filler saga.
What is the point of the fillers? Is there anything significant I need to know/watch, seriously? o.o
I've more questions but I'll have to wait until the episodes reenter the storyline, I guess.

The filler saga begins after the Sasuke / Naruto waterfall battle. I believe that is around episode 150-160...

ithought sasuke's and naruto's battle was episode 133-135 I've watched them total of five times now.

They are.. but my original question's kind of unanswered: is there anything in the fillers I'm gonna miss horribly if I don't watch them? o.o

Not really no. Raiga, a shinobi swordsman of the mist. Hinata develops a new technique and thats it.

Fillers are put in because the anime has caught up to the manga.
