As you know there are two versions of the song Latin Simone, the english and the spanish one. Which do you prefer lyrics-wise and sound-wise?

I used to like the english one, but after listening to the spanish version a few times, I prefer the original.

The Spanish version. As much as I like Damon's voice, it just doesn't suit the song. It doesn't have enough power. However, Ibrahim's vocals...wow.

I heard the english version first then the spanish one. I like the english version better though. The spanish version has a opera feel to it. I enjoy all types of music but for this song I just perfer the english version. Maybe it's just because I'm more used to it.

I like 'em both...
But I just recently got G-Sides (was sooo happy, too!) and listened to it.
I was like "Whoa, deja vu!" cos I heard it on MTV back in the day...don't remember why though, one of those mix cd thingies or summin like that. I listened to Latin Simone on Gorillaz and I was all "TF?"
I like the English version cos of the way he sings "What's the matter with me?"
And the Spanish because, well, just because. Do I need to explain?

i really like both actually. they're so different, i don't think they should be compared. it's not like a remake of an old song.

I like the English one better because I can understand what's being said, but the Spanish one has something to it that I like for some reason...
