I bought the first part of season one on dvd two weeks ago, it's awesome, but it ends right in the middle of the Haku v Sasuke fight, Naruto just turned up, and I know from reading the manga that he's abuot to unleash the nine tail fox.... damn it. Now I have to buy the next part too, knowing my luck it'll end just as those exams start and I won't get to see Gaara or Rock Lee.... crying

Naruto is the number one Ninja series in the world right now Magala. Those are good places to cut of the volumes though Dhoffryn makes you have to buy the next one to continue your pleasure.

It kind of surprised me when I heard the dub voice. It really meshes with how I heard it in my head. Now you want a voice that clashed for me Onizuka.

Rock Lee and Gaara are in them. They end right before they enter the forest of death. Konhomaru and his buddies interview all of the candidates before they go in, and explain most of their backgrounds.

I have to say, once Cartoon Network realizes no one wants to watch fillers and really gets the story going, Naruto is going to skyrocket in ratings. I've read manga all the way up to chapter 250 sumthin and it only gets better. (Yes I can read some Japanese) I am the ultimate Otaku! Ph33R meh with much Ph33R.

Hmm.. the manga is better than the animated version, IMO. ^_^ Already in Chapter 343 in the manga. But I'd have to say I prefer subs to dubs. Dubs make my ears bleed. stare

WingsofMorphius I don't watch the dub... Naruto's voice makes me twitch. I have to agree. I was totally expecting something different. I was a little disappointed, but I still watch the show religiously despite the fact.

I started reading the manga when it first came out in Shonen Jump several years ago and I loved it. I was so excited when I found out they were putting the anime on t.v. Well it was nice, but not as good as the manga in my opinion.
And it irritated me when kids who had no idea what manga or anime was a few years ago started thinking they're experts now just because they watch Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist...
