ANyone see the Wed Jan 17th episode of Top Chef 3?!! Drama indeed!! I always thought Marcel was an insecure cocky guy, but the other chefs started to become annoying. And man, Cliff turned into the incredible Hulk! He became a violent beast manhandling Marcel to the ground. I think I like Elia the best. She is quirky, talented (she can do the classics or make an amazing meal from American processed cheese). And had the guts to shave her head (for the sake of just wanting to do it and not to make a statement or cause controversy...that's cool). I think Marcel needs to shave his bushel of gelled hair. Anyway, it was a good episode. I was already getting a little bored with the chef's whiny traits, over-exaggeration, and accusations. I think Betty had to eventually leave...she made roasted red pepper soup again! She was creative in the beginning, but then her meals started to look more like diner comfort food. Nothing wrong with that, but she needed to be more flexible in order to stay. And that was my rant!
