Reginald arrived in his dorm and stared at it, adjusting his bags. This was it....? Somehow he thought it would be more... unique. Oh, well... He ventured inside and began to quickly put away his things. As it was he had to have special arrangements to come here in the dead of night and have it--where was his coffin?
A knock on the door and a large thud relaxed him. He opened his door and glanced out into the hallway to see his redwood coffin laying on the ground, no men in sight. Of course they wouldn't want to deliver the very thing one keeps a dead person in, to vampire. Too close for comfort. "Well... I wasn't going to see them anymore anyway..."
He gripped the sides of the box and pulled it into a where his bed would be, even lifting it up over the empty frame. He smiled and dusted it off with his sleeve then began to organize his vast amount of books that were produced from a black bag. "This place isn't so bad at all. If I could do nightly performances or work out a deal with the Ring Master then I should be fine."
An hour later he had everything put in its place and a relaxed smile. Tomorrow he would go out and explore the world, perhaps even make friends with kids his age! He just.... Had to get on a new sleeping schedule and feed on the blood that was delivered. Well! If any well meaning vampire could pull it off then so could he!

Its the Weekend Xaki
Shima took a look in the glass walls outside of Kaleido stage, smoothing her hair down. Today, her hair was loosely down, and Shima decided to dress casual. A black shirt with sparkles on the front, with a black skirt and a silver belt. She glanced at her watch, it was early morning. Shima had plenty of time to spare.
Off with homework and all that other stuff, today was supposed to be a day full of fun! .. Where first?
" Hmm.. The mall or walk around first? "tooaya Lyane's long awaited break has arrived! After a week of studying, training, and well...dozing off in classes, the girl felt freedom for the first time in the week. Today was her day off, and she was not about to let the precious time go wasted by just sitting in her room and playing video games. She needed some new video games anyways.
Bending down and secured her boots tight, Lyane walked out of her room and the dorm building. She squinted at the bright daylight that shone above her. So bright a day today. Maybe she'd remember to get herself a pair of sunglasses. Lyane breathed in, and let out a heavy but relazed sigh. She then stretched her arms far out into the sky. The weather felt good, and that helped to brighten up her already good mood.
After a little workout Lyane walked on, hands in her pockets. She looked around for other students, and at first glace spotted that bright violet hair from far distance. Lyane had a good eyesight, but Shima's hair was also hard to miss. Seeing someone she knew, Lyane smiled, and strolled toward the girl, wondering if she could make a surprise apperance. Xaki Shima sighed, leaning back on the wall. She was trying to plan out her day. First a trip to somewhere, preferably someplace where she could buy new clothes, and then a trip to McDonalds? Or some other fast food place? Shima definetly wanted things for her room, as cluttered as it may be. Busy in thought, Shima didnt see the Lyane, sneaking up behind her.
" Hmm.. If I need some money, I can always go to an machi----- WHOA! " Shima tipped back losing her footing by the wall, her hair flying forwards, as it scattered over her face. tooaya Aw Darn!
Lyane had her timing perfect when she was about to jump on Shima when the girl tripped, and her flying hair blinding Lyane's sight temperoraly as her body slammed right on top of the blonde girl. The two landed on the ground on Lyane's back, making a loud clashing noise with the concrete floor.
Thankfully Lyane's head tipped upward to avoid being hit, but her back, oh the pain! The girl moaned, her voice muffled by the other girl's back on top of herself. Xaki Wincing, Shima couldnt help but notice.. her landing was soft? What the hell? Looking back, Shima glimped locks of blonde hair, and immediantly saw Lyane. Standing up quickly, Shima's bag fell as she looked at Lyane in shock.
" I'm so sorry! Are you alright? .. And what were you doing behind me? .. uh.. " Shima became speechless as she bended down and offered a hand to Lyane.
Oh shoot. I hope she isnt too mad at me. tooaya Lyane slowly moved her head, twisting her shoulders to make sure her backbones weren't broken. Thankfully those were fine, and she was glad that Shima got up from her quickly.
What was I doing behind her, ha, good question. Lyane rolled her eyes, half mocking herself for coming up with the extraordinary idea of sneaking behind the girl in the first place. Slowly and carefully she got up, one hand supporting her weight from the ground, the other reached out to grab Shima's hand. She forced a smile while looking at the other girl and shrugged.
"I'm fine, don't sweat it. Hey, at least I got to be your pillow." tooaya Lyane slowly moved her head, twisting her shoulders to make sure her backbones weren't broken. Thankfully those were fine, and she was glad that Shima got up from her quickly.

"I'm fine, don't sweat it. Hey, at least I got to be your pillow." tooaya "Shopping? That sounds like a good idea." Lyane grinned broadly, and finally managed to stand up, and immediately bent down again to help Shima to pick up her things on the ground. "And don't worry about bags, I can carry them."
When she got up again Lyane rolled up her sleeves. The weather was getting warm again, and she blamed herself for not watching the weather broadcast earlier. Perhaps she'd go buy something cool to wear, something light and...
Shima's words made her squint and blush a little. Lyane scratched her head. "I'm not very good at giving opinions on clothings...but I'll try." In fact, Lyane never really cared about fashion. Alll she wore were something that, according to her opinion, looked comfortable and loose. In other words, she'd pick out the most "manly" looking clothing from the store and wear them, and she was certain that Shima was not the type to do the same.
Now, if only her brother was here, he'd help Shima with clothings. After all, he was the expert in fashion, not her. It seemed ironic that way, but since her brother didn't care, neither did Lyane herself.
So she added, with blunt honesty, "I don't wear clothes for girls very often." Xaki Hearing Lyane's blunt reply, it didnt really seem to faze Shima. Shima's blue eyes just glanced at Lyane and it seemed as if nothing out of the ordinary.
" No worries. Now everybody is a fashion-freak. Look at it this way. You tell your honest opinion of my clothes and we'll go with that. I buy outfits that go together with all my other outfits anyways, so I can throw whatever on and it'll still look nice. " Pausing, Shima ran her fingers through her hair.
" Relax. I dont color coodinate my outfits or anything unless I'm going to a party. " .. Pausing, Shima thought about Lyane for a moment and came to probably a typical conclusion. Shima smiled at Lyane, and held her finger up.
" One, you're probably the type who has a brother and judging from what I've met of you earlier, I guess you're the type to wear whatever's nice and comfortable? " Shima paused to take a breath before going on, " I dress in the sloppiest clothes when nobody sees me. "
Most of the people she met in public school, with older male siblings, tended to not lean so much towards fashion then the girls with girl siblings or an only child. ((True Statement in my school XD))
Reginald Tristan Dias Reginald spotted the two girls and approached. As always most of his skin was covered and hidden from the sun. He gave them a smile and waved his hand. "Pardon me... I couldn't help over hearing that you mentioned fashion." He frowned at his own clothing. It felt so overbearing but if they were inside...
"Would you terribly mind if I joined you? I'm rather short on clothing myself... and I'd love to get inside..." He gave a sheepish smile but keep his lips firmly pressed down, as if he was hiding bad teeth or something. "I would be honored to escort you both." tooaya Lyane's eyews went wide at Shima's conclusion. My, this girl was really bright! Lyane laughed, and patted herself on the chest. "That would be me, you are so good at this, Shima! And of course...I dress in things that I like the most, I mean, if you like it, who cares if others didn't? I don't...at least. " Lyane blinked a little at Shima's last sentense, and smiled. "I probably dress in sloppy clothings all the time. But hey, I'm comfortable with it."
Pausing for a while, Lyane tilted her head and looked at Shima in doubt. "But...how do you know I have a brother? I don't remember telling you that..." Lyane's thought wandered off to her brother. Although, if Shima was making the assumption that her brother was also someone who didn't care about fashion, she was wrong. Her brother...he'd wear different clothings everyday, and perhaps different hairstyles, even. And since her family was rich enough to support that, she could often find her brother's clothings dominating his living space. Piling those up would make a comfy bed, even.
A voice behind Lyane startled the girl, dragging her mind back to reality. She turned to look at the strange boy standing in front of her and Shima. Someone she'd not seen before, but nonetheless...a boy! Grinning, Lyane turned to Shima and whispered, "well, here's someone to carry our cloths..." Xaki " Usually, the ones who adopt the style of wearing the comfy and sloppy clothes, which I dont think yours is, have siblings. I found out that when I went to public school for awhile. Since I didnt have any siblings, I had to grow to decide my own fashion. Same for alot of kids. .. And Lyane, no offense intented, you might not get along so well with a sister." .. Shima paused, looking at Lyane curiously.
" Which led me to assume you have a brother. You need a sense of these things in the business world, so it needs to be pretty close to the target. "
Shima explained to Lyane, hoping she wouldnt be bored out of her mind with this information. Hearing the boy's voice she never heard of before, Shima turned around to look at him.
What timezone is this guy living in? Nobody says escort except from aold well-astablished family or just.. really old.
" Besides the timezone you're living in, or you're just super-really polite, We'd be glad to have a guy along. And... I dont think anybody really says escort these days, so you might want to lose the language? " Shima said cheerfully after Lyane whispered to her. It wasnt seriously intended, and she hoped the guy would take no offense at it.
But this guy seemed reaally strange. It was a warm day and he was wearing sleeves? .. And she could of sworn she saw this guy in class before. What was he hiding?
" We should get going or we might miss the sales for this morning. The good clothes, also in the guy's section I might add, will be out if we dont get there soon. For the morning shops anyways!" Shima looked at her watch.
" Do you people want to walk or get a car?" Reginald Tristan Dias Reginald gave a slight smile. "Timezone? More say, 'what decade', my dear." He shook his head and let a small chuckle of mirth escape him. "Oh yes! We can't miss the sales... Don't worry about the section. I'm sure I can find something that suits my tastes regardless."
The vampire glanced up through his thick sunglasses and frowned slightly. "Erm, what ever the two of you are comfortable with. I am more then happy either way. Think we'll be there before noon? I don't like noon." He licked his lips nervously.
Good thing he ate before going out. tooaya Lyane raised an eyebrow at the boy. What was he? He seemed so strange to her. Well, there were plenty of people who seemed strange to her back in the class, but this boy here gave her a small chill. Lyane recalled the myth stories she had read back when she was just a little girl, stories about werewolves and vampires and demons and faeries...she never knew these creatures existed, yet she had a firm belief now that some of her classmates were obviously...not human.
"Well, if you don't like noon, and I suppose I don't either if the sun decides to keep his face out there, then we better take the taxi." Lyane scratched her head and nodded, and winked to Shima. "Oh by thw way...I'd totally have a sister, a younger one, I'll just take on the role of her brother instead."
Personally Lyane preferred walking, since it felt more free that way. Although taking a car was, indeed, a faster way. She figured she'd have plenty of walking time during her shopping.
"Ur...where is the mall?"
An obviously idiotic question, and Lyane slapped herself mentally for not asking about it earlier. Xaki " Ooh. One thing I didnt count on. " Shima gave a small laugh as Lyane winked to Shima. Oh, she was sure Lyane would make an awesome friend.
" We can just ask the taxi driver to drive us to the mall. I'm sure they'll have to be nice and ask us which mall, and we can ask them in detail about them?" Shima suggested, since none of them really knew this city.
Shima couldnt wait to go shopping, as Shima fingered her cell phone in her pocket.
" Are we calling for a taxi or do we go by the street, and attempt to go and flag one down? " Shima asked the group, with a grin on her face. Twirling her finger in her violet locks, Shima glanced at the sky, taking a deep breath.
The air here was much fresher than where Shima lived, and the weather, she didnt mind.
" You know, I wonder if there are beaches here? Going into the water is a tempting thought. You know, we should go to the beach on the next break. " Shima said to Lyane and the male, forgetting that the male said he didnt like afternoons.
" By the way, what's your name? And.. whats with the formal speaking? " Shima asked Reginald, her glance at him, telling her he was already strange. Was he like the boy, with a dragon tail and wings? Reginald Tristan Dias "I suppose I could hail a taxi..." The male mused. He wouldn't be joining them for the beach trip and found himself wondering exactly how many things he'd miss out on.
His name? In a smooth motion he took her hand and kissed the top of it, smiling shyly. "My name is Reginald Tristan Dias."
He gave another light kiss before letting her go and straighting back up. "And as for my speech? I blame the..." He paused as if searching for a word. "Elders? Is that the English word... Anyway, they only knew formal English and I do enjoy speaking in such a manner." He chuckled then waved his arms upon spotting a yellow car. "Taxi~!"
Lo and behold the taxi pulled to a stop next to them. tooaya "A beach would sound fine." Lyane scratched her forhead and nodded. She used to go to the beach with her brother when she was young, and, because of her age, she liked to skip around on the mixture of sand and seawater naked. Her bother did not mind, and neither did her parents, who at the time cared less about her than their formal picnics. They were always so busy...but Lyane had fun with her brother and his friends, who used to tease her, calling her a little boy. Lyane actually liked the comment, it made her felt that she was able to blend into her brother's circle. Things changed by the time Lyane was around 12 or so, when for the first time her brother insisted to let her wear a swimsuit to the beach. Lyane hated it, for she never liked wearing anything constraining. So in the end she went to the beach in her brother's big white t-shirt, and swimmed in it. The wet and heavy shirt felt just as uncomfortable as the swimsuits, and Lyane decided that she'd never go swim at the beach again.
But the idea of the beach still intrigued her. It had been a while since she had been to one. She wouldn't mind going there just to enjoy the ocean wind and the warm, glittering sand.
Her mouth unconsciously dropped as the other male all of a sudden laid a kiss on Shima's hand. Her initial reaction was an utter disgust, then followed by a wave of goose pimps on her arms. She was glad that the kiss was not laid upon her. That boy would take a beating if it was! Nonetheless she gave out an alarmed cry as he kissed Shima again.
"Ur...what are you doing?" She asked, "that's so gross!" Xaki What in the world..? Shima couldnt help but think something along the thoughts of Lyane's thinking, as .. whats-his-name-Regi-something, laid another kiss upon her hand. Shima expected this out of businessmen she knew, but certainly not others of her age. Her bluntness overcame her shock in a hurry though.
" No offense, Regin..ald but polite or not, do that again and somebody will probably take offense and knock your lights out. " Turning around, Shima faced towards the yellow car, with the driver in the front. Shima stepped into the yellow car first, easily obtaining a window seat.
" Hey Mister, could you happen to drive us in the direction of a good mall around here?" Shima leaned forward to ask the driver, waiting for Lyane and Reginald to settle into the car. Jeez. A hot guy she met, she wouldnt mind but a classmate? .. uh.. No matter who it was, not really. Not cute. Afterall, Shima had rather high standards. Reginald Tristan Dias The man blinked, caught completely off guard. Most females he knew swooned at his mere glance. These two were acting as if he'd just sprouted a second head and ran around screaming about the end of the world. Great... Bad impressions could be fixed though. He brushed him self off and gingerly entered the car, crossing his legs. "Ah forgive my actions. Where I'm from that's rather customary. Not to do it would seem more offensive."
He closed his eyes as if to concentrate. "You see... I" Should have never come. Now we're too close... "I should probably... " As he spoke, two needle like fangs lowered over his bottom lip. He retracted them quickly and winced. Oh dear... tooaya Lyane grimanced as the man slipped in before she did, placing himself conveniently in the middle between Shima and herself. She peeked at Shima from across, and nudged the man beside her.
"Probably what? You better not be getting any weird ideas!" Her hands enclosed into fists, and Lyane took the freedom to wave them in the air, as if it was a threat. "And hey, who are you anyways? Are you a performer too? I've never seen you before." The girl kept her glaring eyes on Reginald's face, making sure he wouldn't do anything harmful...not after he kissed Shima...twice. What kind of person would kiss someone they didn't know at first glance anyways? Xaki Staring out into the window, Shima's eyebrows raised in amusement, as she watched the two beside her, with Lyane clearly threatening. Nobody seemed to notice Reginald's odd behavior, and Shima was no exception. Turning to face Lyane, Shima attempted to keep a straight face, as she decided to 'inform' the girl.
" Lyane, my friend, you do realize he is a classmate of ours right? I dont think we saw him at the assembly, but that could just be me. Since I was napping and all. Such a good night's sleep I had then. " Shima grinned, breaking the straight face. If looks could kill, was the saying. Lyane's glare was so intensely concentrated, Shima found it hard to think of anything to keep the poor boy from being too troubled. After all, it wouldnt be quite well if their lackey-- erm hem, nice person who volunteered to carry their shopping bags, to suddenly dissapear.
" Lyane, you might want to just tone it down a bit. He apologized didn't he? If we make him too uncomfortable, we'll have to actually lug the bags around the mall ourselves. That wouldn't be too fun now, would it?" Shima said, ina good natured teasing voice. Shima kept watchful eyes on the windows, in the car, in hopes of spotting the shopping mall soon. tooaya Lyane sighed, her eyes moving away from the young man beside her and shifted to Shima. She made a pose as if she was an old, wise woman, and smiled.
"Shima, you are so innocent! Maybe he IS a classmate, but even that, you can't really trust someone till you really know about him." Lyane coughed as if she was lecturing on little kids. "Gotta be alert in the real society."
But then again, Lyane knew she was being hypocritical. If anything, she was the one without any real world experience, being isolated in her family's rich paradise and all. Thankfully, her brother did teach her some morals, but Lyane's mistrust to strangers was perhaps more of a self-isolation rather than self-defense. By not trusting others, she does not expect trust back so she didn't have to reveal too much about herself---not that there was much to reveal anyways.
"But fine, I'll let you go this time cause Shima says so." Lyane blinked at Shima and nodded at Reginald. She then shifted herself away from the man and leaned herself on the car window, her nose almost touching the panel as her eyes made themselves busy again by looking at the passing scenearies outside.
"How long till we get to the mall? I'm excited!" Reginald Tristan Dias The teenager filched at the odd conversation going on around him. He do something inappropriate? His blue eyes traveled between the small tussle then to the woman who had challenged his intentions. "My dear, I can promise you from the bottom of my hea-- er... well I can promise that I am indeed a classmate of yours."
He offered a soft smile to the one who had helped him and sighed. "As for carrying your bags? I would be honored." He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth as he thought. "How long do you purpose we'll be gone...?" The questions that followed were more to himself as he thought out loud. "I suppose I do need another dress... Do we have to dress well for our performances? Of course we do..."
The cab veered slightly as it pulled into the parking lot of the nearest mall. Reginald reached into his front pocket and removed his money which was tied together with a string. "Will you ladies be too upset if I pay for our venture?" Xaki " Sure! Why not? " Shima grinned at Reginald, as she hopped out of the car, when she heard the click of the car unlocking.
" Let's all pitch in for the ride back. After all, wouldnt do any good if the poor guy pays for all of it. " Shima pointed out, as she turned around to face the mall. TUrning back to the taxi driver, Shima handed him some money.
" Here's the tip, Mister. Thanks for driving us! " Shima smiled at the man driving the taxi, and looked back towards the large building. She couldn't wait to explore it! After all, everywhere the clothes were different right?
tooaya Lyane couldn't help but to make a small grunt on the end of her throat when Reginald started talking. She didn't know why, but the boy just didn't feel right to her. Maybe it was because he was being overly polite, which reminded her of the rich people that she'd seen from her family's social gatherings. She remembered how she used to just sit in a corner, gnawing on her food while seeing adults talking to each other with the face that looked so fake to her that she thought it was silly. Those times were truly lonely...her brother wasn't there most of the times because he wasn't exactly allowed to attend any of the social gatherings. His parents thought him a shame to the family, all but Lyane.
Seeing the car stopped, Lyane jumped out of the car while still thinking about things back in her home. Hands in her pockets, Lyane followed the two quietly, keeping her eyes on the two, but not exactly looking at them. Reginald Tristan Dias Reginald gave his thanks to the driver, paid him, and walked away from the cab as it pulled away. He took in the mall's structure, judging how many windows it had. Luckily it seemed as if this mall would rather pay more for artificial lighting then rely on the sun so didn't have many windows at all.
He stepped inside the mall, going automatically to where the sun light ended. "Ah, so much better..." He muttered removing his trench coat to reveal a white ruffled dress coat underneith. He gave it a disgusted look and smoothed it out before leaning over and rolling up his dress pants so they still showed no skin but looked fashionable. "Now," He draped the coat over his outstretched arm and smiled brightly, standing up. "we can resume our course of travel. I assume you two are eager to explore this place so I'll just follow you. Consider me you're 'lackey' of sorts for the time being. Lead the way, ladies."
Xaki Shima wasn't really listening to Reginald at the moment, as she scanned the mall with her eyes, seeming to take everything in at once.
Walking a little over to a booth, to grab a brochure, Shima's eyes traveled over the list of shops. Hmm.. Which to go to first? So much choices! And then there was the arcade she wanted to check out as well. Handing the brochure over to Lyane, Shima glanced at Lyane, who was looking a bit preoccupied at the moment.
" Hey Lyane, want to pick a shop? " Shima grinned, as she held the brochure out to the girl. Glanving at Reginald, as he took off his jacket, Shima frowned inside her head at his attire. What was with the fanciness? Well, if the guy was into formal, sure go ahead. Shima respected other's tastes even if she didnt agree with it. Reginald was no exception. Silently fingering her wallet in her pocket, Shima tried to figure out how to put side money for food and games. tooaya Lyane gave a slight jump at Shima's words, for her mind wasn't really focused on the shops. She quickly looked around, scratching her head.
"Urh...I don't really have a preference, perhaps we could go to the shops at the end and walk backwards? I mean if you want to stay at a certain shop that's your choice too."
Lyane wanted to say gaming shops, but it seemed a little immature to her so she shutted her mouth before it slipped out. She glanced at the boy quickly and asked, with her head turned sideways.
"Hey, do you have any place you wanna go?" Reginald Tristan Dias He looked a tad flabbergasted when he was questioned but quickly recovered. "Me? I um... No, not really." He answered then glanced to the side. "Well, there is something I need... I seem to have lost a favorite ... article of clothing." He ran his fingers through his curls and smiled sheepishly at Lyane. "I'm not your typical male... in a few ways. It would be in the Woman's section of a clothing store." tooaya Lyane raised an eyebrow at the boy's reply. She paused a moment, then gasped as if she just heard the news that the world was going to end.
"What???" Lyane cried out, and immediately clamped her mouth, feeling a little embarrassed at her sudden outburst. "Oops. Uh, I mean, that's great..." The girl managed a silly looking smile after she recovered a little. "You ARE strange...you are the second person I know who likes to crossdress." Xaki Shima remained silent as the conversation went on. She was quite surprised herself, actually. She would of probably made an outburst herself, if Lyane hadn't before her. It wasn't as if she hadn't mean people who had preferences to their gender, or things like that.. But never in her life, had Shima come across cross-dressing. At least, not a noticable one. It wasn't as if Shima didnt wear clothes in the men's sections but did that count?
Okay .. If those are his tastes, then so be it.. I didnt mind the formal attire but this..? .. Just deal with this, and get it over with. I didnt hear anything.. I'll have to be nice about that .. erm.. habit. If I must. .. Hey.. But if a guy looks good as a girl, then that might work.. The thoughts ran through Shima's head, as she tried to push away any more rude thoughts. It wasn't as if anybody would know them, right?
Attempting to keep her mind off the topic, Shima thought Lyane's plan was pretty good.
" Okay, we should work at the shops in the end. I think this mall has a few floors, so are we checking them all out today?" Shima questioned the two, as she tried her best not to look like such a tourist. Reginald Tristan Dias The boy winced as her yell seemed to flow through the entire mall. He smiled politely and tried not to look completely embarrassed. "Yes well... Its... more something I do in... private."
He chuckled nervously when he mentioned 'strange'. "I suppose I would seem strange but it was how I was taught to deal with humans." He said off handedly starting to walk. "I think think that's a wonderful idea, Shima! I don't know if we'll be able to see all of them today but we can try. I wonder how late this mall closes...? The later the better..." tooaya Lyane shrugged and gave Shima a smirk. "If you have the energy. For me..." The girl rolled up her sleeves and waved her fist, her cheeks bright red with excitement. "I certainly don't mind seeing all the goodies around here! It's been a while since I did any shopping...not to mention for myself!"
Ignoring the boy's remark, Lyane ran forward a few steps, and stopped short, turned, and put herself in a position right into the two's face. There she rested her hands on her waist and bent forward. "So it's decided! We go from inside out and from up to down!" The girl gestured with her hands while speaking, intentionally showing off that she was more than ready to attack the mall. Reginald Tristan Dias The vampire's eyes fell to the ground as he was ignored once again. Was it just him? Or were they like this with everyone? He tugged out his shirt from his pants, unbuttoned his shirt, then, with defiance, reached up and messed up his own hair.
Any attempt to make him more... whatever they wanted him to be. The boy gave them frustrated eyes when he tried to speak without using his accent or letting his fangs slur his words. "If you're ready should we start?" It was hard and the sentence came out choppy but he was trying. Xaki .. Ermm.. WHY WAS REGINALD UNDRESSING? .. It was the ultamite question in Shima's mind as she walked towards Lyane.
" Okay, first things first. Lyane, you need to cool down. And Reginald, while I have absolutely NO clue what you're doing, I'm guessing we're all just getting ready to shop. So shall we head in? " Shima gripped her bag a little tighter as she headed inside.-- Shall we skip the mall part or include a little bit of the experience?-- Xaki (( Okay *FASTFORWARDTIME>3* I'll assume we did alot of things x3~)) Shima really quite did feel like her limbs would fall off. This mall was absolutely huge, and she couldnt wait to visit it again, as Shima sat on the ground near the parking lot. They went to nearly every shop, arcade, and the food courts plus much more. Shima seriously, just wanted to collapse into bed for the day.
Even with Reginald here offering to carry their bags, Shima thought he had alot of bags himself, so she carried hers. But feeling satisfied with the clothes and games she bought during their venture, Shima grinned.
" I guess, we'll need a bigger taxi this time. And we should go home already, because we have classes tomorrow. " Shima sighed as she thought of the exhausting idea of classes. But look on the bright side.. It wasn't school. Exactly.
The day was nearing evening as Shima glanced at the orangey pink-tinted sky, with the soft clouds floating above them.
They looked realllly.. comfortable. She should probably put her new clothes in the closet tomorrow..(( Should we just all finish with ending replies, and that's it? <3By the way, I'll just end here. xD)) Reginald Tristan Dias Reginald smiled to himself. While had less fun then the girls he did find things he needed. "Actually, I think I'll be fine on my own." He responded glancing out toward the evening. "Nice meeting you both!" He dropped the bags he'd carried for them.
With a wave and a smile the vampire walked out and closed his eyes. The smile faded into a grin. Who cared if they saw? He was tired and hungry... His eyes flashed red. Very hungry and there was a delivery for him tonight of blood.
He carefully put his few tiny bags into his mouth and opened his arms. With a slight screech he changed into a bat and disappeared into the approaching darkness. He was starved.

A Night's MeetingReginald Tristan Dias Reginald sat in the darkness, relishing in it. He had to train himself to avoid sleeping during the daytime and that meant sleeping at night. He blinked his heavy eyelids and ruffled himself. He needed to stay awake this evening. His 'drink' was to be delivered. He was in front of the complex that the trainees stayed in, stupidly sitting in the pathway that led inside. As with his coffin, they wouldn't dare come closer then they needed to.
He sighed. When did he start feeling like he had a disease? In the Coven, there were only vampires, so he never felt isolated. Here...? Here he was afraid to even smile properly, fearing someone would call him out on it. Shun him from the very circus. He picked at his black shirt then let out a hearty sigh. If only he had someone to speak to... His eyes landed on a female. Maybe...
"Hello there!" He called with a polite smile. Mistress_Ice Arahila had been having trouble sleeping lately and found a midnight strole comforting. This whole Kalediostage thing was giving her more stress then she had anticipated. She still felt like there wasn't any room for a contortionist in the high paced and exciting shows that were expected of them and she was having difficulty finding a back up plan. The trapeze looked like so much fun...but she just didn't have the strength. The trampoline didn't hold any real attraction for her. Maybe she just hadn't found something that really interested her like bending her body into strange positions. There might even be something where her flexibility could be useful. Wandering aimlessly towards the dorm, she was pulled from her thoughts by an unexpected call.
Snapping her head up, she stopped and turned around slowly, finally spotting a figure further down the path. She approached slowly, curious as to who else would be out this late at night but she soon relaxed as she realized it was another trainee. She didn't know his name but she knew he had been in one of her classes. Health class maybe.
"Hi. Nice night, isn't it?" She said and smiled. Reaching out her hand she decided to introduce herself. "I'm Arahila. What's your name?" Reginald Tristan Dias He stood up and took the offered hand quickly, placing a kiss on it. "Reginald..." He answered relinquishing the hand and stepping out of slapping range. If she was anything like the other two females he'd met she'd get angry about the kiss. "What is a such a beautiful woman doing out here so late...?"
The vampire flickered his eyes to the road and creased his brow in worry. How long had he been sitting here? Hell, how long had it been since he'd eaten... He forced his eyes to focus on the woman's eyes rather then her neck where they were currently straying. "It... could be dangerous... at night." Mistress_Ice Arahila blushed at the kiss but said nothing and made no move to suggest that she had been offended by it. She hadn't been around men much in her life so she wasn't sure the proper response to the kiss, but she knew that she kinda liked the attention after feeling so alone here.
"Dangerous? I don't think so..." She said, not noticing the eyes on her neck or not realizing what it meant. She was rather naive at times....
"I'm just out walking...it helps me to think a little. I guess I've just been stressed lately with getting sick and not feeling like I fit in." Her blush deepened but she shook it off and attempted to smile. "Are you out for the same reason? I haven't really seen you around much." Reginald Tristan Dias His small smile turned to one of understanding. "Oh yes my dear... I quite understand your feeling." The vampire turned away from her and held one of his hands up toward the sky. "The reason I'm out tonight is..."
He hesitated. Dare he say such a thing? The true reason for his nightly charade? He took a deep intake of air and put on a wider smile, eager to please the young woman as he pivoted back around to face her. "I... You see... I have to wait here for a time for ... a truck. You see... I... have odd eating habits." As if to prove this point, his fangs extended over his lips out of nervousness. "I'm having slight trouble adjusting." Mistress_Ice Arahila was about to ask how he was coping with feeling like he didn't fit in when she noticed his teeth. They were long and accompanied by his eating habits comment that could only mean one thing...but he was a trainee, wasn't he? He couldn't be dangerous...
She realized she was staring and tried to recover but just ended up blushing more. "Well, I guess that's one way of putting it, huh?" Smiling she looked around and hugged her shawl closer. "So out for a midnight snack or just a stroll?" Arahila was trying to make light of the awkward place she had found herself in while not insulting him. She also hoped that being a trainee meant that he was harmless. Reginald Tristan Dias His blue eyes dimmed as he turned away from her. "Unfortunately a snack. Its supposed to becoming, however,... they're late." He fiddled with his collar, smoothing out the wrinkles. "Please, I don't intend to hurt you... if you wish you may leave but... I wouldn't mind the company." Mistress_Ice Arahila was about to look for a way to leave, out of the childish fear of becoming that snack but something in his voice stopped her. He was waiting to feed, yes, but chances were that it wasn't her. Or at least he was very good at conning women. That last bit stuck though...it sounded so sincere and close to her own wants that she gulped down any second thoughts and sat on a stone bench with a shy smile. "I think I'll stay then."
Looking around, she didn't see much so she thought that maybe a change in subject would be nice. "I'm a contortionist." Looking over at him she blushed once more as she realized that it was kinda a random statement. "That's what I got into the program for anyways. I want to learn something more useful before the next show though. And you?" Reginald Tristan Dias The vampire looked over to her with a stunned expression. She knew what he was and still she chose to stay? The coldness of his gaze melted into a sincere and very relieved smile. "Thank you... You don't know how much that means to me..."
When the new conversation came up, he paused. What WAS he going to be? Before this moment he hadn't ever really thought of it. As he thought, he commented on her statement. "Contortionist is something not everyone can do..." He glanced down the road again and clicked his tongue against his teeth. "I've... always had a small... erm, attraction to the tightrope..." He admitted with a sheepish smile in her direction. Mistress_Ice "Tightrope?" Arahila looked at him curiously and smiled gently. "Wow, you must ave great balance...and no fear of heights. I tried the trapeze a few weeks ago with that girl Shima...it was scary and I just don't think I have the arm strength for it."
Looking around she began to realize how late it was getting but she didn't really mind. Talking with someone was kinda nice since she was usually so shy. "I really don't know what I'm going to do. Being flexible is good and all...but I just don't feel there's any room in the high paced shows that we put on..." She drifted off slightly, loosing herself to her thoughts of what she could possibly do but shook it off just as quickly as it ad come on. "So what do you like about the tightrope?" Reginald Tristan Dias He threw his head back and let out a deep and rich laugh. "Oh yes... Also the part of being able to die gives me an edge as well." He rose an eyebrow at the mention of the trapeze. "Well that is a tough one..."
The vampire debated a perfect nitch for someone flexible. "Well, for the tightrope... Everyone in the audience would have their eyes on you no matter what... I'm not really sure why I like it..." He admitted with a shrug.
He grinned, looking to Arahila. "I have an idea... We can work on your upper body strength." He placed an ice cold hand on her arm. "I believe you can do it. I can help you..."
Though he didn't intend it that way, his ever tired eyes hued a soft red. He tore his eyes off her and laid backward, staring up at the sky, to avoid doing something further or scaring her.
Still no sign of that van... Mistress_Ice "That would be nice...thanks. I don't really know what to do though. I was thinking of trying some other things. Maybe dancing...I have good rhythm." She tilted her head back to look at the stairs and try to wipe the sensation of Reginald's eyes turning red from her mind. Obviously that hadn't happened and ad been a terrible trick of her mind. Relaxing slightly she looked back to him and nodded. "I can see why you would like the tightrope. I think you'll be great at it. So...umm...what are you waiting for exactly may I ask?" Reginald Tristan Dias He pushed himself off the ground and began to walk in a slow circle, everyone now and then giving a rough shake of his head. Her heartbeat... He could hear it taunting him. How dare it taunt him! He should end it... yes... NO! Another shake of his head and this time he stopped. "My blood..." He tried to keep the edge out of his voice, "I'm waiting for my delivery of blood. They promised I would get it."
So if they're late they wouldn't mind if you... His gaze slid back to the woman, an internal fight in progress. She trusted him. That was the last thing he'd do to break that trust.
The sound of a vehicle made his entire body relax to the point where he might fall. "They're here..." He breathed a sigh of relief and turned to greet the white van. There was a short interlude where Reginald firmly told them NEVER to be late again. It must have scared the man because after Reginald was given his blood, the van shot down the road at high speeds.
The vampire just shook his head and sat back down where he was. He had six-what looked to be coke bottles with red fluid in them- gathered at his feet. He was already drinking from the seventh greedily. Mistress_Ice Arahila had started to feel uncomfortable with Regi pacing and looking at her neck....and mentioning needing blood...so she was relieved when the van pulled up. Too bad that feeling quickly disappeared as she watched him drink his delivery. She felt herself get light headed at the sight and had enough time to be scared slightly and think that maybe she should go before she passed out...but the though came to late and she slouched slowly. Finally she lost all hold on her consciousness and fell off the bench, onto the grass. Reginald Tristan Dias "Arahila!" He shouted dropping his bottle and rushing to her side. "C'mon honey, wake up." He lowered his voice and glanced up, looking around. Where? What did he do? The boy wondered what could have made her pass out so suddenly. Lack of food? It being too late at night? Himself...?
He left her for a moment and grabbed the bottles then picked her up and as gently as he could, swinging her over hi shoulder. "Hold on... I'll try to help you..." He abandoned his half drank bottle, ignoring it as the substance drained onto the grass, staining it. He could help her.
Not knowing where her room was, he took her to his. He disappeared into shadows and made it through completely unnoticed. He mentally thanked... someone... that he was a vampire. Made things like sneaking so much easier. He carefully maneuvered and keyed into his room.
Now what?
He set her down on the floor and pulled sheets out of the inside of his coffin, arranging it on top. Once he was convinced that she wouldn't be horrified about a coffin, he placed her on top. "Arahila... wake up..." He said again this time adding incentive by dumping a handful of water on her face from the sink. Mistress_Ice Arahila slowly opened her eyes and blinked at the water that clung to her eye lashes. Why was she wet? For that matter, why was she indoors with someone yelling her name? Blinking off the haze she tried to remember how she had gotten here but couldn't. Sitting up, she brushed back the wet aqua hair that clung to her forehead and rubbed her eyes looking around. A movement caught her eye and she turned her head to find Reginald extremely close. He must have been the one calling her name....
Then it slowly came back to her. The red eyes. The van. The blood. Watching him drink the blood. She felt herself get woozy again at the thought but clung to being awake this time, if only for the sheer terror of realizing she was in his room. Looking at him more closely, she didn't see any of the hunger that had been there before she passed out. Maybe he had had his fill of...blood...for the night? Actually, he looked rather panicked. He could drink blood by the bottle but couldn't handle a girl passing out?
Pressing the heel of her hand to her head she tried to find something polite to say. "So, umm, where are we?" Reginald Tristan Dias He looked relieved when she woke up and slumped down in a chair, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You're... in my room." He responded slowly, then stood again.
What to do...
She looked sick still. "Are you alright? You passed out quite suddenly..." He rummaged around the room muttering a few choice words in Spanish.
Once he found what he was looking for he walked back over to her and pressed a cool cloth against her cheek. "I am terribly sorry if it was my actions... I would never harm someone as sweet as yourself. As far as I'm concerned you're my only friend here."
Regret crept into his eyes as he pulled out glasses from his pocket and placed them on himself. "If... I haven't scared you off that is." Mistress_Ice Arahila's initial fright faded as she saw the sincerity in his eyes become more apparent. "No, you didn't frighten me away. It's just...I'm not used to talking to too many people and the sight of blood freaks me out. Never mind...umm...drinking it by the bottle." She grinned a little even though she knew she must have turned pale. "Do you know how long I was out for?" Reginald Tristan Dias Reggie shook his head and motioned to the clock mounted on his wall. "Barely twenty minutes, dear." He ran his finger along the smooth wood of his coffin. "I'll refrain from ever drinking around you again, I promise...but... perhaps its best now if you went to bed." He brought a finger to one of his fangs and felt it subconsciously. "Your own of course. I could walk you there if you like." He was starting to look tired himself.

A Dancing LessonQuote: Arahila walked into the practice room and looked around. It was empty. Good. Setting her stuff down against the wall she walked over to the CD Player and put it some techno music to warm up, stretching and bending her limber body in anticipation of practicing a dance she had come up with. She had seen this great dance preformed in a show one time and if she wanted to learn something new, then her flexibility might just help with dancing the most. Once she was finished warming up she switched tracks to the slower, more romantic song she intended to dance too. Quote: Reginald passed by the practice room then blinked. Was that...? He backed up until he could see the woman inside the room that was dancing. Arahila... He exhaled softly and leaned in the doorway to watch her. She was truly a beautiful creature in her movements. It was a shame she was so shy... The vampire smiled thoughtfully as he nodded to himself. Perhaps, he could be of some help then. With that he walked in, silent as death. Quote: Araila found the rhythm easy to sense and even easier to keep time with, the moves went that difficult either...it was the connecting of them and making them flow. Not to mention it was a fairly romantic dance and Arahila had never had a boyfriend, so she wasn't too sure what expression looked right or the emotions that her moves were supposed to represent. That, and if memory served a partner was supposed to come in later on. As her thoughts took flight her feet did the opposite, tripping over each other during a turn. She was able to catch herself in time but her rhythm was thrown and she sighed, moving to restart the song. Looking in the mirror too tie back a stray strand of hair she noticed a shadow near the door. Jumping and covering her mouth so she wouldn't gasp n surprise, she turned around and stared at the male who stood there. "Regi?" Quote: Reginald's offered her a smile and a bow. "A pleasure, Milady Araila...." He returned the greeting and moved closer to her and the stereo. "I see you have a slight bit of trouble keeping rhythm... Perhaps I could lend a hand?" He turned, this time blocking the stereo and fiddling with it. For an instant a boy band filled the room and his hair visibly stood up in disgust until he found a Spanish station. Pleased with himself, he swung around again to face her, holding out his hand. "Allow me to help you." Quote: Arahila instinctively moved away and was about to say that she could find the rhythm just fine...but something nagged at her that maybe she just thought she had been. What if she had been terribly off? Stiffly she reached out and took his hand before blushing deeply. "You dance?" Her eyes showed clearly her apprehension at dancing to such fast paced and clearly sensual music but she decided it was nothing more then something new to try, not anything to be afraid of. "This is my first time dancing to this kind of music so I apologize if I'm not very good." Quote: The vampire's hands were like ice but his grip was firm. "Of course, I am Hispanic..." He grinned and tugged her a bit closer. "Just follow my lead. I won't let you fall. You'll be just fine." He intertwined his fingers with hers then started to move. "Pay attention to me, not our feet. Don't worry about where you place them, it'll all fall together." He began to move against her and then back as he started to move his feet to the rhythm. "But I have to ask something..." He leaned down so he was close to her ear. "Do you trust me?" Quote: Arahila truly wasn't. She liked Regi as friend, but this was getting a little too close for her comfort zone and her stiffness should have been evidence enough but she would feel rude saying it out loud and to his face. She had NEVER been this close to a guy and she wasn't sure what to think at all. "Ummm...I think I do. Why?" Her eyes were lively with suspicion at this point. This dance, this style, this closeness...all was foreign to her. She hoped he wasn't insulted, it was just all so new to her.Quote: "Because you can never dance with someone if you do not trust them." He pulled away from her but kept a firm grip on her hand. "Nor can you dance if you're not having fun." He chuckled, a loud and rich laugh that nearly drowned out the music. "Nervous? My apologies. I should have asked before pulling you into such a dance." He let go of her hand and started to dance by himself, exaggerating his hip movements. "Our culture is all about how the body flows. Try and match the beat and we'll go from there." Quote: Arahile inhaled deeply, thankful that he hadn't been insulted and that she now felt like she had room to breathe. She watched his hip movement and blushed deeply, pushing back some stray strands of hair. It was very provocative but she wasn't going to get anywhere on this stage by being safe so she attempted it. At first it was barely noticeable that she was even attempting to copy him but as she got more confident it was easy, if unusual to her, to match his rhythm. She had finally found something that her contortionist training would help in and that discovery lowered another wall of insecurity, allowing her to match his movements even more closely. "So all I have to do is match you?" Quote: "Exactly!" He began to move his feet in a more complicated manner. "You've got it! Once you get this down we can try for the harder part." He was proud of the girl beside him. He had no trouble with the closeness, but he had to remind himself, this wasn't Spain. "Want to see something funny?" He asked in mid-step, trying to relax her. The more relaxed she got, the better she did after all. He was having fun... It had been so long. Quote: Arahila creased her brow as she attempted to keep pace. She was much more used to the slow deliberate movements of stretching and bending, not the fast foot work that Regi was demanding now. As he speed it up it took more effort to keep up but it wasn't anything close to impossible just yet. Just as the steps were getting committed to memory she heard his voice and it took a minute to register what he had said without stopping. "Funny? Sure why not?" She smiled as she continued to copy his movements. Quote: The vampire stopped dancing and walked to the wall. He touched it with his hand, as if judging something then put one foot against it. With a grunt he lifted his other foot and easily began to scale the wall. Once he was on the ceiling, he began to dance again, grinning down at her. "Don't copy this though, 'fraid you'll end up on your head, rather." Quote: Arahila couldn't help but stop dancing when her dance partner simply walked up the wall with very little if no effort. It wasn't something that happened every day...well, maybe in his world it did. Inwardly she made a choice to take it as the joke he had meant it as and nothing more so she giggled and clapped, continuing the steps without faltering. "I must agree. I can do a lot of things but ceilings isn't one of them" Quote: Reginald chuckled and let go of the ceiling, opening his arms and righting himself before landing on the ground gently. "Yes well, comes at a price." He waved off the dark thought with his hand and grinned. "Ready for step two? This is the one where we're getting you used to being close. I figure we'll start with the the Salsa. Its less... sensual then other dances but you still have to put complete trust in me." Quote: Arahila's calm exterior faltered slightly at the thought of getting close to anyone never mind a male...and a vampire at that. Well, if she wanted to keep the only real friend she had made so far she was going to have to get over it. "Salsa...okay. I don't think I've ever really seen that before but I can try I guess." She smiled and looked at him, unsure of what to do next. Quote: He took her hands and did the basic steps. "Forget what I am. Think of who I am." He kept his voice low and even. "You can't see my fangs... I believe I'm holding back on my lisp." He said all of this almost like he was soothing a child all the while, teaching her the movements she needed to know. "I am a vampire but more so, I'm your friend. I never bite those who are close to me. I can't. It'd be immoral." Quote: She couldn't help but blush, realizing that he had seen her fear. Relaxing a little and trying to shake off her embarrassment she relaxed into his hands and followed his step, trying to feel the movements instead of watch them and copy. It was harder to do but not impossible. She nodded and followed him closely, picking up the dance quicker then she had ever thought possible. "Your a very good teacher Regi..." Quote: "Very very good." He complimented continuing to dance with her. "You're picking it up very well! Now, onto the next step, I'm going to spin you then you fall back into my arms. I'll spin you again and we'll right ourselves back to this position." The vampire explained each step carefully and slowly. "Do you understand? We can do one part at a time if you wish." Quote: Arahila creased her brow as he spoke, trying to picture it in her mind. She had never really been into the sexier dances before so she hadn't bothered watching them but this was fairly basic to picture. She nodded and smiled. "Which way do I spin, left or right?" Quote: "To the left." He lifted her hand above her head to ready her. "You really are a graceful woman. I'm proud to have you as a student." Quote: She couldn't help but roll her eyes at his compliment. He was probably just joking again. On the next 4 count she spun to the left, falling back as planned, and the spinning the opposite way, just barely keeping her balance. The surprised look on her face gave away the misstep even though she attempted to cover it up. "Like that?" Quote: He nodded and held in a laugh. "Yes but try and keep your balance and try to keep it even with the speed of the music. That will help." He glanced around the practice room for an instant then looked down to her. "Arahila... I mean it... You are truly smart and an excellent dancer. You could have easily learned this without my aid." Quote: She blushed deeply at his comment and tried to not meet his gaze, concentrating instead on the dance. "Okay, I think I can do it this time. Again?" She prepared herself the way he had showed her and waited for the nod to spin so that she didn't go to early. Quote: "Yes. Ready..." He positioned her hand and focused solely on doing the spin correctly. She had to know she could do this. It was important to her and he felt it just as important to him. He gave a sharp nod. "Now!" Quote: Arahila spun quickly, falling back against him, before spinning the opposite way and continuing the dance with a smile on her face. "Okay, that wasn't too bad!" She was slowly getting into this dance and her body was becoming accustomed to the rhythmic and sensual steps. Quote: "Now how about a break and I buy you dinner for such a wondrous job!" He asked with a grin. His eyes were lit up with somewhat of a fire. Excited that his new friend was mastering something from his culture. "We could eat in my room since its closer and then come back down here for more dancing if we feel like it. If we do too much you'll wear out." Quote: Arahila's brow creased and she looked at the clock over her shoulder. They had been dancing much longer then she had thought. Biting her lip she cocked her head to one side before nodding. "You can buy me diner if you teach me another step first." She grinned and continued the dance, hoping to learn a little more before they left for a break, fearing that she may lose the rhythm during that time. Quote: "Another step?" He arched his eyebrows then chuckled. "You are an eager person. I suppose one more step...Though this one I add on my own. The Salsa is simply the move from before with some of those spins. However..." He let go of her hands and moved them around her waist. "Turn around. I'm going to lift you up and spin you to face me as I do so. Do not panic. I will never let you touch the ground." Quote: Arahila's eyes widened and she visibly gulped but she had asked for this. Nodding, she attempted to continue the step with his hands on her waist, unsure of where exactly her hands were supposed to go. "So, I just turn...like this?" She turned and faced the other way, away from Regi and placed her hands on top of his. "Now what?" Quote: "Exactly like that." He breathed into her hair while concentrating on the beat. "I'm going to pick you up and turn you. When you do, I want you to put your arms on my shoulder and that's the end of the dance." This was the most difficult. She had to trust him or it wouldn't work. But... His own faith was faltering... could someone trust a vampire? Quote: Arahila nodded. It sounded simple enough and really the best possible thing when being thrown was to be stiff, which wasn't very hard right now. She was used to being thrown around, the troupe that she had been with as a child had thrown her in a lot of the acts, being small for her age and light. Nodding she closed her eyes and on the next beat she felt her feet leave the floor. Quote: The vampire braced himself and breathed. "You can do this..." With that he tossed her in the air, using his hands to spin her to face him. She was lighter then a feather to him thanks to his vampiric strength. Quote: Opening her eyes, Arahila realized that she had been thrown much higher then she had expected and felt herself falter but caught herself in time, returning to her former stiff composure. As she felt gravity take hold of her again she prepared herself for the coming down, placing her hands on his shoulders as she felt his hands tighten about her waist again. Quote: His blue eyes bore into hers as he let the concern disappear from his eyes. Too high... He'd thrown her too high. He hadn't meant to... "Are you alright? I didn't mean to go that high. I'm... unsure of where my strengths lie." He hadn't let go of her yet, too afraid she would be scared of the monster who's face didn't even show up in the mirror. "I apologize..."
