Well we had our first big win today. Won by 100 points. New Record. Our varsity has sucked since the beginning of time, but this year we got freak awesome shirts. They arrived last week. I think they give like +5 intell or something.
Do you have Scholar, Quiz Bowl, or whatever? Is it as much fun as my school's? (I doubt it)

I tried Quiz bowl once. Not my thing. I'm very smart, but I can't think of things on the spot very well. D;

We have 'Super Bowl's in our History Class. o_o 2 Teams answer questions to gain most points. That's as close as we get.

Here is how our schools works.
Two teams, one JV and one Varsity. JV consists of freshmen and sophmore. Varsity consists of Juniors and Seniors. Each team can have as many players as they want, but they can only have five playing at a time. One of these players is the captain.
There are two types of questions. Toss-ups and Bonus. A Tossup goes to whoever answers it first. Ten seconds for all questions except for math computational which is 30 seconds. To answer you buzz in. If you get it wrong no one else on your team can answer it. When a team gets a toss up they get 10 points and a bonus question. A bonus consists of four questions worth five points a piece. The team works together to get the answers. 30 seconds for all bonus. 24 toss-ups total are asked per game. 2 halfs consisting of 12 questions a piece. Thats the general way its played in my region.

That is remarkablt like my Academic Team/Scholastic Bowl Team. Except, we have 20 question rounds, except for tournaments, where there can be between 16 and 20 questions.

Like I said, there are variations from area to area.
