I bought DDR: Supernova the other day, and it's different. I am familiar with the DDR franchise. I played it at the mall. I even purchased DDR Max and Max 2. The latest one, Supernova, is somewhat different. Just like DDR Max 2 and the Extremes, you need to accumulate points to unlock other songs. It's more like purchasing songs, modes, characters, and so on. I am a little disappointed that Max 300 has to be unlocked. The fastest song that I started off with was Dance Dance at 229 bpm.
What do you thinkn of DDR? Your game? Your bore?

DDR: SuperNova is the best. In Stellar Master mode, I made it to "The End", the last Stellar Joint.

Was "The End" hard? I mean, is that where you can unlock Max 300 or Max unlimited or whatever it is called in this one? I liked those. I would collapse in the end. Tee hee! sweatdrop

"The End" has ALL the red letter songs (dynamic BPM) in the game. Only the incredibly fast or incredibly insane can even attempt these songs.

Fast BPM plus the beat switches up on you. You're gonna need more than foot-eye coordination on the red letter songs, you need a good set of ears to listen for the beat changes.

I remember playing that at an arcade. My favorite song is still Butterfly, and I wasted a good year of my life playing that. You see, my friend has the game, and I go over to his house plenty. Now, we spent hours on end learning to destroy in that game, only to go to Malibu Grand Prix and get bored of it. You see, my friend and I have been together for a long time. We are best friends, and almost everything we do is together. We play Counter Strike together, go biking together, make sarcastic remarks and yell at noobs together, but most of all we just love being around each other. We made an excellent team in DDR. we stomped at the same beat and "Stomped To The Beat." (Heh, nerd stuff.) Then we find out it is competitive and we just say "******** that lets go on the Go-Carts." So after riding the Go-Carts and beating all of the shooting games, we find something. A little game all based around Tycho Drumming. We slam out four hours playing that game, getting almost all of the high scores. We got kicked off the game eventually as the Malibu guys hate competitive gamers! evil
Well we spent a long time playing DDR, just to end up going back to Counter-Strike. Tell you the truth, Video Games reflect on our life. In Counter-Strike, I use assault weapons and pistols, while he uses snipers. So we go back to the shooting range with our guns and decide to shoot some targets. We had too much fun. I got best shot in a pistol shooting competition (Thank you Time Crisis!) and he ended up shooting a target from 200 yards. Now this is a really good achievement for someone who has ever gone shooting, and he did it with a one notch sniper rifle. Just one. We are not adults, but teenagers who like to have fun.
Wait, where was I going with this? Ahh right, DDR is pretty fun.

I think "Butterfly" is everyone's favorite song, at least at one point in their DDR career. Tee hee!

"Butterfly" was my fave song, at one time, then I started playing DDR: SuperNOVA and found that Be4You has all their songs on the game. Be4You rocks my face!
