Aleu was tired; she and Tumai had been walking for days it seemed with young cubs at toe. They left the land of the mist, in search of new life, a new home. Her dark blue eyes softly settled as she let a soft yawn pass her parted maw.

“Tumai love, can we stop here for a while?... I feel very tired.”

This was true; the lioness had been very tired lately and found that she couldn’t walk long distances with out taking a few rests along the way. This was odd to her, because she had always been very fit, so when she felt herself become tired quickly it worried her- but she wouldn’t openly tell her mate this.

Moving along side his mother’s paws Munich mewed with relief. He was also tired of walking! His green eyes softly narrowed as he pushed himself against her paws and spoke.

“Momma, where are we going anyway?”

He asked with a soft tone, before skipping away from her paws.

“My paws are tired.”

Tumai was walking just ahead when Aleu called, causing him to look over his shoulder, a reletively concerned look on his face. "Of course my love." He had noticed Aleu's slight deterioration over the past few days, but he hadn't said anything because he was quite sure that Aleu didn't want him to know, and was definatly sure that she didn't want the cubs to know.

Smiling (albeit half-heartedly) as he walked back to Aleu and the four cubs that walked around her, he careful lay down. "Wake up Tulivu, your mother and I need to have a little talk.

As he said that, the thick fur that made up Tumai's mane began to shift and rustle. Soon, a small pale head popped out. Yawning, Tulivu rolled off his father's back and grinned. "You have a comfy mane father." It wasn't that the cub was lazy, as he had walked some of the way as well. He just liked to sleep. A lot.

Chuckling, Tumai ruffled the small tuft of fur on Tulivu's head, before turning to the rest of the cubs. "Now listen cubs, you're not to move from this spot, OK? Your mother and I will be right over there, where we can still see you." Saying that, he turned back to Aleu, the concerned look on his face returning, before he started walking the short distance to the spot he had mentioned to the cubs.

The days just seem to blur together. Teal eyes watched the scenery change from a dry, wooden area to wide open plains. Zarin listened to his parents talk while he kept quiet. His paws hurt with each step, they were probably rough and coarse at this point, but he didn't say anything.

Teal eyes shifted over each of his siblings, taking note that Tulivu slept a lot. He had more than likely slept the whole way here, not lifting a paw. Coming to a stop next to his parents, he sat down while his father told him not to go anywhere. Where would they go? It's not like they knew the area around them, it would be pointless to go wander and then get lost. "Yes Dad."
