Hey, I'm a trumpet player, 5th year... on some random crappy student trumpet I've had since 7th grade (currently in 10th) and on a bach 5b I can hit a high f (I'm not sure if that is the name of it, it's the one in the ledger lines.) What's your equpment? What can you hit?

sry for my ignorance but how do you change ocataves on trumpets with only 3 notes?
if you cant tell i dont play any wind instruments i can play almost every string instrument but no nothing about wind/brass so im trying to learn a little about it

You blow faster air. It's tough..nice range though. I haven't played in what....a year? And I only played for a year. But at that point, I could hit a high A. Pathetic, considering. But whaaaaaatever.
