It was announced on several websites like Naruto Central and Naruto-kun. Supposedly it was mentioned a manga chapter awhile back.

Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles is to air in Japan the 15th of February. [Note my sig.]
It hasn't been confirmed or denied that Kakashi's Gaiden will or will not be added in the new season.
