[Cherry.Wine] I don't like the Asst. GM thing. =/ I say that while filling out the GM app, the person filling it out should state whether or not they want an Assistant. And if someone who is chosen as the GM who doesn't want the GM Asst, then we don't have one. I don't think we should have one at all really. What would be the point? Unless of course it's like it was with Tak, and then the asst. GM can post the updates at a good time. But that would be the only reason to have one. =/ So there isent a "HOLY ******** GM GONA BE OUTA TOWN -dies-" Explosion if a gm has to leave town unexpecidley. The time limits look just fine, I completely like them. 3nodding As for requirments, being able to write well, having time to write and watch over the game, be creative, have a sense of humor and community, and the ability to be fair, etc.
I don't like the idea of an Asst. GM, either. It'll take too long to organize who does who, get them both on the same page and it's double the IRL problems to mess with the game. Just one, please. <3

It is true, out of all the gms we've only needed an Asst. twice, with Taka and Zae. And those were outstanding circumstances. So we would probably be fine without one now.

Maybe everyone has had a different idea of what an asst. GM would do. To me an assitant GM would do vote tallies and inactives and put up an update if say the GM had an exam and needed to take the night off to study or something like that, not someone to take over really just help out when the GM may get too busy with RL stuff. :/

It really depends on what the GM wants done...
Maybe if they just want to someone to tally votes and inactivities they can choose someone themselves. And if they want people to do updates for them in a pinch...they can choose still choose them on their own. So yeah maybe we shouldnt have Asst. voting. The GM can be in charge of that.

We could let someone who has been jailed or killed that applied for GM take over or let The GM appoint someone.
Or have like a Vice GM that would run with them. and if they run with someone for Vice they can still run for actual GM.
So say for example A runs for GM with B for his/her vice GM. B can also run for GM but s/he doesn't have to have A for a vice GM unless if s/he wants too.

[N]ymphie Uta Arashi I'd say they should have at least participated in one game and never gone inactive.
Or something of the sort. 3nodding Last time we said they had to have been in at least two games. I think the inactivity thing is a good thing to have as well.
I also think they should be able to run signups on the 1st, and be able to start the game shortly after. They should also have access to the internet for the next month or so. No going on vacation xd You're saying that we'd have to played two games in there, right?
I'm just checking because if I can still submit only playing one game, my writing muse is going to have a feild day. xD I havn't writen alot for almost 2 months.
... And I don't think my muse likes the closet I locked her in. xD
