I've been thinking about reading Buso Renkin for a while now, but I haven't decided yet. What's the plot line? Is it good?
Secondly, does the series have any references to Ruroken? I thought it didn't, but I saw a topic that said Watsuki talked about it or something. ?_? Can you clarify?

In the second volume the main girl gets sick and is wrapped up in bandages. She looks just like Shisio.

Busou Renkin's funneh! My friend forced me to read it, saying that it's the best thing since anything ever. I haven't read past volume one, but I'm trying to see if I can watch the anime. Sunshine Heart~~! X3

I actually enjoyed the two volumes I read so far. What I really like are the author notes (not just sidebars of info). Still it feels like a combination if FMA and Bleach (+Pshycic Academy) so it feels predictable and unoriginal. I'm getting jaded I guess... rolleyes

it is predictable, but i dont think its unoriginal. just cause they use the word alchemy doesnt mean its anything like FMA.
