Transformers are now, and have always been, some of my faborite toys. I remember owning the original Megatron when I was just a little rrugrat. Granted I'm not as insane for them as Elias of Clerks 2, I'm still quite the fan.
Some of the off-shoots I'm not QUITE so fond of. Beast Wars didn't excite me much. There was a series of them when the Autobots and Decepticons themselves were normal action figures, but their gear transformed rolleyes but overall, I love 'em.
My all time favorite characters have been Starscream and Grimlock.

I had transformers when I was kid. I love that because not many girls had that stuff. I also had G.I. Joe action figures and play with them and my She-Ra toy. Ah, the good ol' days.

Oh my god I love transformers, I named my gold fish opti after optimus prime as he is my fav character

I think he is everyone's favorite character. Either that or the easily recognizable one.

So, I'm betting that you'reamong the people who thought it was a bad idea when they killed Prime in the first movie ^^;;
Personally, I thought that was one of the best parts. Not because I don't like Optimus, just because it was such a well done fight and death scene.

My stepbrother collects a few Transformers action figures. I myself will actually play with them sometimes when he leaves them in the car.
