I saw no title like this and I was shocked! This is basically the foundation of love! Anyone read it?

I've read it, but it's not the best romance I've read. I just like the family feud.

I have read it and it's one of my favorites. It's not the best book but it is very good and as such one of my favorites

I've read it three times in school, and never liked it. Juliet should have just learned to live without him instead of going all suicidal in the end!
My favorite Shakespeare romance is The Taming of the Shrew. talk2hand

I'm more of a fan of Shakespere's comedies. I liked Romeo and Juliet okay, but it's not my favoritest romance story ever.

I have to say...Romeo and Juliet is a bit overrated. Granted it is a beautiful, enduring love story, but it has its flaws.
I much prefer Mary E. Pearsons' Scribbler of Dreams which is a more modern tale based on Romeo and Juliet.
My personal favorite of Shakespeare's romances is A Midsummer Night's Dream.
