I highly enjoy FFXII because it appears quite different from all the other Final Fantasys I've played. The atmosphere of it is different from all the others, but the charaters like Ashe, Vann, and Penelo seem a lot like the FF characters from the earlier games. (Like Tidus and Selphie...I'm just saying.)
Other than that I highly enjoy this FF game. (Of course it's like Star Wars+Lord of the Rings like a lot of people say. Which is probably why I like it.)

I dont find the charachters to stand out much like the ones in final fantesy 7, I liked that about the charachters

There's a problem I have with the characters though. People told me that there wasn't any main character and that all the characters were the main characters. You seem to know an equal amount on each character and such, but the whole game seems to focus a lot on Vaan than any other character. I'm disapointed that they didn't make it equal enough for each character, but then again this is Final Fantasy and I guess you need a Tidus or Cloud like leader in the mix. (I really don't enjoy either.)

I've played it, but I'm no where near where my brother is. I don't really enjoy the battle system too much. I would rather have a turn type one, or the free button mashing one. I noticed that they're making the male characters expose a lot of belly. It kinda bugs me.

I enjoyed the battle system better than the other Final Fantasys, but I agree with you on the free button thing. I wish they made the battle system like this other Square Enix game called Star Ocean.

I also have Star Ocean. But again, my brother is more into it than me. That battle system was good, I enjoyed it, but what I didn't like was that if you lost all your mp, you were incapacitated.

poor summons got replaced with these new guys and got bumped back to ship names (friggin inturns all their fault)

I for one liked the fact that in Star Ocean your mp ran out. That made it more of a challenge.
As for the summons, I enjoy the new ones, but I would've also like to see some of the old school ones. That and the new ones die pretty easily for me. They're a waste of mp in my mind.
(When you battle them, they're awesome though.)
