well in FF7 you gain money for killing monsters so leveling up is an exalent way to make some cash and later in the game you can sell of an "mastered" All materia for about 1.4 mill and you can aquire gill plus materia that increases the amout you recive after battle when equiped.
as for on gaia if thats what your asking mainly by posting, pming, voting in poles, and a load of other ways to do with games and the marketplace

a good place to go is the northern crater-left/up path with the mass stuff its a good way to level up materia and get some mony.

Fighting monsters OR you can sell a compleetely level up ALL Materia they sell for a but load of gil.
