Jake looked back up at Darrick, still surprised. "... I... Um... He... And I... He said... That he was the only one I can say hello to and..." He looked around, as if he was so confused that he was looking around for something to confirm that this was either true or not. Marriage? Him? And The White Rabbit? He looked up at Darrick again, face still plastered with confusion. "... We're getting married?"

"..." Darrick sat with quiet sympathy while watching the poor male in confusion. Shaking his head softly, he looked around him as well, slightly afraid that The White Rabbit would show up out of nowhere and wring his neck or something of that sort. It was only stories that he heard, but to him The White Rabbit seemed a bit too paranoid to really hurt anyone. Always worried about being late, paranoid when someone got too close. "Yes, but...not if you don't want to marry him. He seems like he'll take good care of you, but...I did hear that he gets jealous easily, and that when he gets jealous, he gets very upset. I don't think he'd hurt you, but he wouldn't want people getting too close to you, I guess...from what I hear, that is.."

Jake looked over at Darrick, listening to him. His ears dropped at the mention of people not getting too close. "But... But I promised... And BunBun is nice to me..." He fidgetted with the ring on his finger, forgetting all about his ball which rolled away. "BunBun wouldn't hurt anyone... BunBun is nice... we said hello..." Jake probably had no idea that Darrick wouldn't know what he was talking about. "And I promised... I don't want to make him upset... He's my friend..."

"Correction, he's your future husband," Darrick murmured lightly. His mismatched blue and green eyes flicked towards the ball. Knealing down, he picked it up and held it in his hand, looking sadly towards Jake. "Jake...maybe you should talk to 'BunBun,' and maybe you two can work something out. That way he won't get jealous. Just...if you really want to keep your promise in here," he lightly touched over where Jake's heart was, "...I'm sure he'll feel better if you promise not to...be in a relationship deeper than friendship with anyone but him." Darrick lightly bit his lower lip, trying to think. "Just, maybe try to make sure that nobody tries to kiss you, or touch you in inappropriate places? I'll try to help you get this all figured out. He can't force you to do anything you don't want to, and if you don't want to marry him, then he'll just have to find someone else."

Jake merely stared at the ground for a while, still twisting the ring on his finger. Though he looked up at Darrick weakly. He looked like he was about to cry. He stood up, moving over to Darrick as his eyes watering. He literally threw himself at Darrick, clinging to the front of the male's kimono, sobbing into his chest. "I don't know what to do!" He continued to sob, body trebling lightly, ears back and tail shivering lightly.

Darrick blinked, and instinctively put his arms loosely around the young, upset male. He lightly rubbed Jake's back, trying to help to calm him down. "I...don't know what to do, either. All I can tell you is that if you don't want to marry him in your heart, then don't do it. Even if you made a promise...you didn't know what you were promising him..." Darrick said lightly, shaking his head.
Rabbit stood at the edge of the porch, red eyes staring at the two in disbelief. He simply stood there for a few moments, until he heard Darrick's words. Jealousy flared up in a boiling rage, making it feel as if the blood running through his veins was boiling. "What in the hell is going on?!" The rabbit demanded, a scowl on his face while his red eyes glared at Darrick, who had his arms around his Jake. Then his eyes flicked to Jake, a very deeply hurt look seeping into his red eyes, seeing his lover, future wife, in the arms of another man. His face reddened slightly with anger. "Get away from him," Rabbit growled lightly, walking over to lightly take Jake into his arms, wrapping them around him possessively and protectively. "Quite filling his head with nonesense and lies! Get out of here, now!" Rabbit scowled and glared, letting out a little growl as he watched Darrick obey and walk slowly away.

Jake had flinched when he heard the White Rabbit, looking around at him. He had been startled so badly he had stopped crying, simply looking at the angry rabbit as if he had never seen him before. He was really angry, and all Darrick had been doing was comforting him.
Jake merely clung to the White Rabbit as he watched Darrick leave. He suddenly didn't feel safe to be alone with the White Rabbit. He looked up at him, still trembling. "... Please... Don't be mad at him... He was just... helping me... Don't be mad please..."

"No, he was trying to fill your head with lies," Rabbit scolded lightly. His eyes then softened as he stared down at Jake, and he lightly touched his cheek, pressing a light kiss to his forehead. "If you didn't want to marry me, or didn't understand, you should have said something. But now...I'm going to have to teach you, even though I don't want to. I'm very hurt that you wanted me when you were in my arms, and then didn't want me anymore when you were in his arms."

Jake looked like he might start crying again, whimpering. He let go of the White Rabbit, clinging to the front of his own kimono. He shook his head, ears back and down. "But I do want to marry you! I never wanted to not to! Even though I didn't know before... And I don't even know who that was! He just came over and said you were looking for a dress and talking about babies!" He was confused. Teach him? Teach him what? He was a little nervous now. What did that mean?

Rabbit smiled softly at his words, leaning forward to place a light kiss to Jake's lip, watching when he pulled away and clung to his own kimono. Lightly, he picked Jake up and held him close, gently nuzzling him as if he had forgiven him. Gently, he carried Jake inside, and to one of the rooms (Jake's hopefully). Setting him down on the bed, he sat down and gently brushed at the other's hair with a tender look in his eyes. "Be that as it may, you...must learn," he said softly, leaning forward to steal a tender kiss from him. He may as well give him a tender kiss now, because the teaching wouldn't be tender in the least.

Jake had blinked lightly snuggles lightly up against the White Rabbit as he carried him inside. And, on a random stroke of good luck, they did end up in Jake's room, next to Lutty who was still out.
Jake had curled lightly inward when the White Rabbit put him down, watching the White Rabbit. Though he didn't kiss him back, too afraid and confused to do anything but try and figure out what he had meant.
