just got a quick question about this card's effect. it reads:
"Once per turn by Tributing 1 monster on your side of the field, increase the ATK of thus card by the original ATK of the Tributed monster, until the End Phase of this turn."
just wanted to double check whether or not i could use this effect during my opponents turn. thanks in advance.

I dare say that you probably couldn't.
but why you would want to is beyond me.
It's not often that a person pulls out a monster with more than 4k Atk.

Because that part of the effect isn't a chain, i'm going to say no. It's an activation effect, similar to how you can only use Time Wizard's effect during your turn.

"Raviel, Lord of Phantasms"'s effect is an ignition effect than may only be activated during your turn.
ignition effects are almost always effect that can only be used during your turn. effects that do not apply to this would be like the effect of kuriboh or charm of shabti, which may be used during your oppnent's turn.

ah, ok, good to know. and to answer your question/comment Pleasure', i was wonderin cuz i was kickin my brother's a** until he brought out his Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon and killed my Raviel. stressed
