Today at Chapters (sorta a Canadian version of Barnes and Nobles) I bought Nana vol. 4 and Vampire Knight vol. 1 because it was 20% off all Viz manga! Sadly by the time I got there most of the popular series were sold out. They didn't have a lot of Bleach anymore. t.t I originally wanted to buy MeriPuri but there were no more. crying And volume 2 of Zombie Powder.
Do the bookstores you shop at ever have any manga sales?

Yep, and I'm very glad for it for all the manga I own. Every so often (about every three months) there's a buy 3, get the 4th free sale biggrin

yeah at Waldens book or up north its Borders book store i think they have the buy 3 get the 4 free. love that deal and then i all way's get my manga on amazon for cheep.

Ahh I loved Waldens, they always had a sale for 'paperbacks' (Manga included) =D I always bought a ton there.
But once a Barnes and Noble was built close to the mall, Waldens had to close up and Barnes and Noble don't have those kind of sales.

I know there was the buy 3 get 4th free sale at Waldens. I also think there was a similar sale at Borders. Now I'm just planning on buying from a site that has 25% off on all manga.

yeah that what happened in my home town They built a Barns and Noble down the road from the mall and Waldens went out of business fast!!!!! then when i moved to Lubbock they have both!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love Waldens better choice on comics!

Maybe I should buy some manga online, too. I'd buy from eBay but they have insane shipping rates. Why would I pay $20 US JUST for shipping?

yeah i thought about that as well but then 2 or 15 dollars for shipping for shipping all the manga i bought on amazon. yeah way better then ebay.
