Found this on the Star Trek Wiki. Look carefully at the names.

And lo, I find a practical use for the CTRL-SCRL feature. Tiger shortcut command to zoom in and out.

I liked the original series better. Spock makes me laugh. in all fairness, so do neelix, worf, data, doctor McCoy ( exclaim ) and phlox. potato. potato. potato. I wonder if doctor who ever took anything off star trek?

I'm sure they both borrowed from eachother, though nothing comes to mind. The've both been along for ROUGHLY the same amount of time, are well known, with large fanbases.

I know the audio Who adventures did a good spoof of Deep Space Nine called Dark Space 8 which was holding the Intergalactic Song Contest onboard. It was a more general scifi spoof though, bit like Galaxy Quest.
Can't think of anything in the classic series... maybe the T-Mat thing (like the transporters - but not sure which came first).

I'll have to tell my dad. He's a full blown Whovian and Trekkie. xd

Ah, that is from the episode the ''Q of Who?'' Where they are talking about the Borg. Stragely enough, in an ''Enterprise'' called Regeneration, a frozen set of Borg awaken in the arctic to, yeah you guesed it. To take over an artic contoll center.
